Puerto de las Nieves

El Dedo de Dios (translated: God's finger) is a 30 m (98 ft) high sea stack in the Atlantic Ocean, off the northern part of Gran Canaria, one of the Canary Islands. During Tropical Storm Delta in November 2005, the thin top of this geological formation broke off and fell into the sea.It is one of the many natural monuments outside the coastal town of Agaete on Gran Canaria. The peculiarly shaped rock has been an inspiration to many artists, and it is believed that the author Domingo Doreste was the first to name it God's finger.Geologically, the area is the oldest on Gran Canaria, having started to form around 14 million years ago. Over a period of 200–300,000 years, the oddly shaped monument was created from the basaltic materials in the area.

Agaete is a municipality of Las Palmas province, on the Canary Islands, Spain.

The El Maipés necropolis (Spanish: necropolis del Maipés ) is an ancient burial site near Agaete on the Spanish island of Grand Canary, province of Las Palmas in the Canary Islands of the west coast of Africa. Second-largest necropolis of the Canaries after that of Arteara, the site is listed Spanish Heritage as a Property of cultural interest in the category "archaeological zone". Its particular geology, and subsequently its vegetation are also of notable interest.

The Punta Sardina Lighthouse (Spanish: Faro de Punta Sardina) is an active lighthouse on the Canary island of Gran Canaria. It is located north of the small town of Sardina, in the municipality of Gáldar. The Punta Sardina light marks the north-western extremity of the island, and lies between the Punta del Castillete lighthouse near Puerto de Mogán to the south and the La Isleta lighthouse of Las Palmas to the east.

The Painted cave is an archaeological museum and park in the town of Galdar, located the northwest of Grand Canary in the Canary Islands, Spain. This centre is part of the Spanish Ministry of Culture, Historic Heritage and Museums of the town council of Grand Canary. Inside are found some of the most representative archaeological vestiges of pre-Hispanic Canaries, with characteristics unique within Spain. The Painted cave is considered as the "Sistine chapel" of the former inhabitants of the island, the Canarii.

Gáldar is a town and a Spanish municipality in the north of the island of Gran Canaria in the Province of Las Palmas in the Canary Islands. Its population is 24,227 (2013), and the area is 61.59 km2 (23.78 sq mi).The town Gáldar is situated at the foot of the mountains, 2 km from the coast and 21 km (13 mi) west of Las Palmas. The GC-2 motorway passes south of the town. The municipality includes the settlements Puerto de Sardina, San Isidro, Los Quintanas, Barrial and Marmolejos. The main church is dedicated to Saint James. It holds the Painted cave, a major archaeological site consisting of a remarkable painted cave and an entire pre-Hispanic village visited yearly by over 50,000 people.

Risco Caído is a land-form and archaeological site on the island of Gran Canaria, Spain. The site contains prehistoric cave dwellings, temples, and granaries attributed to the pre-Hispanic culture of the Canary Islands. It is also considered to have been used as an astronomical observatory by Aboriginal people. In July 2019, Risco Caído was named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also a UNESCO recognised Cultural Landscape. It is the first World Heritage Site of the island of Gran Canaria and the province of Las Palmas and the fourth of the Canary Islands.

Casas de los Sánchez-Ochando (English: Sánchez-Ochando's houses) are a group of houses in the municipality of Santa María de Guía de Gran Canaria. They exemplify vernacular architecture, the traditional domestic architectural style of the "well-to-do class" of the Canary Islands. Two specimens remain.

The Quintana House is an example of the ancient architecture of the municipality of Guia de Gran Canaria in the Canarian island of Gran Canaria, located in the Plaza Mayor de Guía; its buildings date from the 16th century. The Canarian balcony is of Mudejar style, in wood and coat of arms with the surnames Guanarteme and Quintana.

Santa María de Guía de Gran Canaria is a town and a municipality in Las Palmas province of the Canary Islands. It is located on the north side of Gran Canaria island. Its population is 13,811 (2013), and the area is 42.59 km2 (16.44 sq mi).The town Santa María de Guía is situated in a valley 2 km (1 mi) from the coast, 19 km (12 mi) west of Las Palmas. The municipality stretches from the coast into the mountainous interior of the island. The GC-2 motorway passes north of the town.

Artenara is a village and a Spanish municipality in the western part of the island of Gran Canaria in the Las Palmas province in the Canary Islands. The village of Artenara is situated in the mountains, 24 km (15 mi) south-west of Las Palmas. Its population is 1,198 (2013), and the area is 66.70 km2 (25.75 sq mi). Artenara is the smallest municipality of Gran Canaria in population.
