Prince's ward is an administrative division of the London Borough of Lambeth, England. It is located in the North of the borough, bounded by the River Thames on the west and Kennington Park Road on the east. It is made up of much of Kennington and Vauxhall. Prince's ward is located in the Vauxhall parliamentary constituency and is one of four wards in the borough's north Lambeth division. Prince's contains two schools: Archbishop Sumner Primary School, and Vauxhall Primary School. Prince's along with its neighbouring Oval ward, is home to the buzzing night-time economy of Vauxhall, including the renowned Grade II listed, LGBT venue Royal Vauxhall Tavern. Prince's is also the home of Vauxhall Gardens Estate Residents and Tenants Association (VGERTA) that represents 2,500 residents in Vauxhall Gardens Estate which is the biggest Residents and Tenants Association in Lambeth.

The Newport Street Gallery is an art gallery in London, England which displays works selected from the personal art collection of Damien Hirst. It is located on Newport Street Vauxhall. Newport Street Gallery is the realisation of Hirst's long-term ambition to share his art collection with the public. Hirst announced plans for the gallery in March 2012, and it opened in October 2015. It includes a cafe, gallery shop and offices for Hirst's company.The building is a former theatre carpentry and scenery production workshop, dating from 1913. It was designed by John Woodward, the London County Council's district surveyor for the area. It is Grade II listed. For its conversion to the gallery, the building was redesigned by Caruso St John. The design was praised for its "virtuosity", and in October 2016 it won the RIBA Stirling Prize.The gallery spans 37,000 square feet and includes six exhibition spaces – one with a ceiling height of 11 metres – split over two levels.

Lambeth () is a district in South London, England, in the London Borough of Lambeth, historically in the County of Surrey. It is situated 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Charing Cross. The population of the London Borough of Lambeth was 303,086 in 2011. The area experienced some slight growth in the medieval period as part of the manor of Lambeth Palace. By the Victorian era the area had seen significant development as London expanded, with dense industrial, commercial and residential buildings located adjacent to one another. The changes brought by World War II altered much of the fabric of Lambeth. Subsequent development in the late 20th and early 21st centuries has seen an increase in the number of high-rise buildings. The area is home to the International Maritime Organization.

Beaconsfield is an artist-run gallery situated in Vauxhall, south London, England. It occupies a Victorian building consisting of the southern wing of the former original Lambeth ragged school.

St Anselm's Church is a Grade II listed church at 286 Kennington Road, Kennington, London SE11, built in 1932–33 by Stanley Davenport Adshead and Stanley Churchill Ramsey, on the foundations of an earlier church whose building was interrupted by the First World War; the present church is famously described as "barn-like".With St Peter's Church, Vauxhall, it forms the North Lambeth parish.

Vauxhall ( (listen) VOKS-(h)awl) is a district of South London, England. Vauxhall was part of Surrey until 1889 when the County of London was created. Named after a medieval manor, "Fox Hall", it became well known for the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. From the Victorian period until the mid-20th century, Vauxhall was a mixed industrial and residential area, of predominantly manual workers' homes, many demolished and replaced by Lambeth Council with social housing after the Second World War, and business premises, including large railway, gas, and water works. These industries contrasted with the mostly residential neighbouring districts of Kennington and Pimlico. As in neighbouring Battersea and Nine Elms, riverside redevelopment has converted most former industrial sites into residential properties and new office space. Vauxhall has given its name to the Vauxhall parliamentary constituency and Vauxhall Motors.

Lambeth Walk is a street in Lambeth, London, England, off Lambeth Road. It was at the heart of a working-class residential area and there was a street market. The area was originally developed with wells and a recreation ground. Houses followed in the 19th century. After some bomb damage during the Blitz in World War II on 18 September 1940, the area became rather run-down and was subsequently rebuilt. Some older buildings survive, including the Henry Moore Sculpture Studios, image adjacent.

The Nine Elms to Waterloo Viaduct is a large Victorian railway viaduct in south London. The viaduct is 2 miles (3.2 km) in length and carries the South West Main Line into Waterloo station. Initially constructed in 1848, the viaduct begins in eastern Battersea in Nine Elms and with an intermediate station at Vauxhall incorporated within the viaduct, the viaduct terminates at Waterloo. The viaduct comprises six iron girder bridges, with a combined weight of 800 long tons (810 tonnes), and over 290 arches (excluding those beneath the Waterloo Bridge terminus). The brick sections of the viaduct are composed of some 80,000,000 bricks. The viaduct is managed by Network Rail, who in turn lease many of the arches for commercial, retail and industrial use.

St Peter's School is a former school at 38 St Oswald's Place, Vauxhall, London SE11. It was built in 1860–61, designed by John Loughborough Pearson, and is Grade II* listed.

Kennington Cross is a locality in the London Borough of Lambeth. It is at the junction of two major roads, Kennington Lane that links Vauxhall Cross with the Elephant and Castle and Kennington Road that runs from Waterloo to Kennington Park. At the junction are the Durning Library (London Borough of Lambeth), St Anselm's Church (Church of England) and The ArtsLav project, a nineteenth-century underground gents Victorian Lavatory converted into a small local arts venue. There are two large public houses, The Dog House, and The Tommyfield.

St Peter's Vicarage is an Anglican church vicarage at 308 Kennington Lane, Vauxhall, London SE11. It was built in the late 18th century, and has been Grade II listed since 1974. St Peter's Church is next door at no 310.

ArtsLav was an arts venue located at Kennington Cross in Kennington, London, England. It started life as an underground Victorian gentlemen's public lavatory. It is now a listed and restored Kennington landmark used as a community arts facility, Artslav. Engineered by B. Finch and Co. in 1898. It went out of commission in 1988 during a period of public convenience closures in Lambeth. Original features included marble urinals, three cubicles, a glass water tank, a mosaic floor from the 1960s, an attendant's booth, a ventilator shaft and horse trough.
