Strømsgodset

Gulskogen Manor (Norwegian: Gulskogen gård) is a manor house and landscape park which forms part of Drammen Museum in Drammen in Buskerud county, Norway. The manor house is filled with historic furnishings and reproduction works of art.

Gulskogen is a borough in Drammen, Viken, Norway. Gulskogen has a population of 3,856 inhabitants (2005). Strømsgodset was the name of the parish from early times. Strømsgodset was a separate municipality which in 1964 became part of Drammen. The district takes its name from the historic Gulskogen Manor (Gulskogen gård). The Gulskogen farm one of the best preserved examples of late 18th and early 19th century Norwegian farms. The facility consists of a garden, farm buildings and a manor house. Today the farm is part of the Drammen Museum.

Buskerud County Municipality (Norwegian: Buskerud fylkeskommune) was the regional governing administration of the old Buskerud county in Norway. The county municipality was established in its most recent form on 1 January 1976 when the law was changed to allow elected county councils in Norway. It managed all the county roadways, public transport, dental care, culture, and cultural heritage sites in the county. Public transport was managed through Vestviken Kollektivtrafikk.

The trust is owned by Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority and is headquartered in Drammen. It covers an area with 470,000 residents in 26 municipalities. Vestre Viken has 9,500 employees.Vestre Viken operates Bærum Hospital, Drammen Hospital, Kongsberg Hospital and Ringerike Hospital in Hønefoss. It also operates them medical center Hallingdal Hospital in Ål. It also runs the ambulance service with fifteen bases.

It opened in 1978 and is primarily used for handball, and to a lesser extent, track and field, trade shows, exhibitions, and in the past major concerts. Drammen HK and Glassverket IF is currently the main tenant at the facility. The capacity is approximately 4,000 or 6,000 for concerts.
