Sawtry Village Academy (formerly Sawtry Community College) is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in the village of Sawtry, Cambridgeshire a short distance from Peterborough. Sawtry Community College converted to academy status in April 2015 and was renamed Sawtry Village Academy. The school is now part of the Meridian Trust (previously the Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust).

Church of All Saints is a Grade II listed building located in Sawtry, a village in Huntingdonshire, Cambridgeshire, England. It became a listed building on 28 January 1958.Until the year 1880, there were two churches in Sawtry, All Saints' and St Andrew's. Both were demolished and the materials used in the erection of the new Church of All Saints. It was dedicated on 14 September 1880 by the Bishop of Ely. It is in the Early Decorated style, from designs by Arthur Blomfield, architect. It consists of a chancel and nave. A western turret contains one bell, formerly belonging to Sawtry Abbey. There is a brass in the church, with three effigies, dated April, 1404. In the chancel, there is a stained window. The register of All Saints dates from the year 1591; that of St Andrew's from the year 1662. To the left as you enter the churchyard is the War Memorial.

Coppingford is situated within Huntingdonshire which is a non-metropolitan district of Cambridgeshire as well as being a historic county of England. The main manor house, still in existence, dates from about 1200. In 1931 the parish had a population of 29. The population at the 2011 Census of Upton and Coppingford was 202.Its name came from Old Norse Kaupmanna = "of the merchants" + Anglo-Saxon ford = "ford".

Hamerton is a village in and former civil parish, now in the parish of Hamerton and Steeple Gidding, in Cambridgeshire, England. Hamerton lies approximately 8 miles (13 km) north-west of Huntingdon. Hamerton is situated within Huntingdonshire which is a non-metropolitan district of Cambridgeshire as well as being a historic county of England. Hamerton Zoo is on the north side of the village. The village has a church dedicated to All Saints. In 2001 the parish had a population of 87. The civil parish of Hamerton and Steeple Gidding incorporates the nearby hamlet of Steeple Gidding, which has a 14th-century church St Andrew's that is now redundant and preserved by the Churches Conservation Trust. Along with its nearby neighbour Great Gidding, Steeple Gidding forms part of a cluster of villages known as the Giddings.

It is near Coppingford north west of Huntingdon. In 1931 the parish had a population of 109. Upton has a church called St Margaret's Church which is grade II* listed.

Little Gidding is a small village and civil parish in Cambridgeshire, England. It lies approximately 9 miles (14 km) northwest of Huntingdon, near Sawtry, within Huntingdonshire, which is a district of Cambridgeshire as well as a historic county. A small parish of 724 acres (293 hectares), Little Gidding recorded a population of 22 in the 1991 British Census. With the neighbouring villages of Great Gidding (where the population was in 2011 included) and Steeple Gidding, the total population was 362 in 2001. The driving distance between Little Gidding and Cambridge, to the southeast, is 30 miles. St John's Church, the Church of England parish church, is a Grade I listed building.Little Gidding was the home of a small Anglican religious community established in 1626 by Nicholas Ferrar, two of his siblings and their extended families. It was founded around strict adherence to Christian worship in accordance with the Book of Common Prayer and the High Church heritage of the Church of England. Charles I visited Little Gidding three times. The community continued for 20 years after Ferrar's death, until after the deaths of his brother and sister in 1657. In the 20th century, the poet T. S. Eliot (1888–1965) was inspired by the legacy of the religious community at Little Gidding. He incorporated historical elements and symbols of it into his long poem, "Little Gidding", as part of his collection Four Quartets (1945).

St Andrew's Church is a redundant Anglican church in the hamlet of Steeple Gidding, about 10 miles (16 km) northwest of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.

Conington Castle was a 16th-century house in Conington, Huntingdonshire, England, built for Sir Robert Cotton. It was demolished in 1956 by the then owner John Horace Broke Heathcote.
