Threemile Pond

The South China Meeting House, now known as the South China Community Church, is a historic church on Village Street in South China, Maine. Built in 1884 as a Quaker meeting house, it is now home to multi-denominational congregation. It is notable as one of the places that influenced Quaker writer Rufus Jones, who was raised in South China and attended services here after this building replaced the Pond Meeting House. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

South China is a village in the town of China in Kennebec County, Maine, United States. It is one of five villages in the town. Located between Augusta and Waterville, South China sits along the shores of its namesake, China Lake. It is an hour and a half from both Bangor and Portland. WWTP (89.5 FM) is a Catholic talk radio station licensed to serve Augusta, Maine, United States. The station is an affiliate of Relevant Radio and is owned by Relevant Radio, Inc. The station signed on in April 2012 as a simulcast of WXTP in Portland. The station is also heard in the Bangor area on WXBP.

Pendle Hill is a historic summer house between United States Route 202 and China Lake in South China, Maine. Built in 1916, it served as the summer home of Quaker theologian, historian, and writer Rufus Jones until his death in 1948. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Hussey's General Store claims to be the largest general store in the state of Maine. It was founded in 1923 and moved to its present location in 1954.The slogan for "Hussey's General Store" is, "if we ain't got it, you don't need it". Hussey's has a large amount of merchandise including guns, wedding gowns, and cold beer, as is stated by a sign outside the store. The building is located at the intersection of Routes 32 and 105 in Windsor. The store also operates as an Ace Hardware franchisee.

Vassalboro (originally Vassalborough) is a town in Kennebec County, Maine, United States. The population was 4,520 at the 2020 census. Vassalboro includes the villages of Riverside, Getchell's Corner, North Vassalboro, and East Vassalboro, home to the town library and sports field. Vassalboro is included in the Augusta, Maine, micropolitan New England City and Town Area.

Webber Pond is a man-made lake located in Vassalboro, Maine, United States. The water is lowered every October for weed control by the use of a dam; attached to the dam is a fish ladder. The town of Vassalboro maintains a boat launch for public access. The lake also has two islands; the smaller of the two is owned by the town and is open for camping, while the larger is owned privately. The lake is shallow and weedy, which makes it well suited for warm-water game fish. Fishing tournaments are held every year on the lake. Fish found in the lake are mostly smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, yellow perch, white perch, redbreast sunfish, pumpkinseed sunfish, crappie, and brown trout; later in the season the lake is also home to pickerel. Webber Pond has been known as an inferior lake because of algae blooms during hot summer months. This problem has been greatly diminished by the Lakes Association's letting thousands of alewives come in through the fish ladder to spawn. The alewives stay less than a week, and the young fish develop in the lake, eating much surplus algae.

The Philip Leach House is a historic house on Bog Road in East Vassalboro, Maine. Built about 1805, it is a well-preserved local example of a Federal style Cape house. It is notable for the stencilwork and floor painting in its parlor, which are the work of the itinerant folk art stenciler Moses Eaton Jr. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The East Vassalboro Grist and Saw Mill is a historic mill complex in East Vassalboro, Maine. Established in the late 18th century, it is one of the oldest water-powered mills in the state, with a working complement of grist and lumber milling equipment. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
