J. H. Campbell Generating Plant is a 1,420 MW, three-unit coal-fired generating plant in West Olive, Michigan which uses sub-bituminous coal. It is owned and operated by CMS Energy.

Grand Haven High School (GHHS) is a public secondary school in Grand Haven, Michigan, United States. It is the sole comprehensive high school in the Grand Haven Public Schools district, and one of two in northwest Ottawa County; the other being Spring Lake High School.

Park Township Airport (IATA: HLM, ICAO: KHLM, FAA LID: HLM) was a public airport located in Park Township, 3 mi (5 km) northwest of Holland, Michigan, United States. Built in 1937, the airport was operated by Ottawa Aviation, an organization of local users whose aim was to promote the value of the airport to the surrounding community. The airport had a main paved runway (5/23) that was demolished around August 15, 2020, and an intersecting grass runway (12/30) that still exists today. With the failure of a millage, the airport no longer supports fixed wing aircraft.The airport was used for general aviation and had no regularly scheduled commercial flights. It was quite popular with ultralight and model aircraft. The airport was also home to the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1242.

Holland State Park is a public recreation area covering 142 acres (57 ha) in Park Township, Ottawa County, four miles (6 km) west of the city of Holland, Michigan. The state park consists of separate Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan units on the northern side of the channel connecting Lake Macatawa with Lake Michigan. It is often the most visited state park in Michigan, receiving between 1.5 and 2 million visitors annually.
