Park Township Airport (IATA: HLM, ICAO: KHLM, FAA LID: HLM) was a public airport located in Park Township, 3 mi (5 km) northwest of Holland, Michigan, United States. Built in 1937, the airport was operated by Ottawa Aviation, an organization of local users whose aim was to promote the value of the airport to the surrounding community. The airport had a main paved runway (5/23) that was demolished around August 15, 2020, and an intersecting grass runway (12/30) that still exists today. With the failure of a millage, the airport no longer supports fixed wing aircraft.The airport was used for general aviation and had no regularly scheduled commercial flights. It was quite popular with ultralight and model aircraft. The airport was also home to the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1242.

The Egbert H. Gold Estate, also known as the Marigold Lodge, is a summer estate located at 1116 Marigold Lane in Holland, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The estate is owned by furniture manufacturer Herman Miller, which uses it as a training center and private hotel for its customers.

Lakewood Farm, also known as the Getz Zoo, Getz Farm, or Lakewood Zoo, is a house and outbuildings located at 264 Lakeshore Avenue in Holland, Michigan. The property was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.

Holland State Park is a public recreation area covering 142 acres (57 ha) in Park Township, Ottawa County, four miles (6 km) west of the city of Holland, Michigan. The state park consists of separate Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan units on the northern side of the channel connecting Lake Macatawa with Lake Michigan. It is often the most visited state park in Michigan, receiving between 1.5 and 2 million visitors annually.

The Ottawa Beach Historic District is a residential historic district located on Ottawa Beach Road in Park Township, Ottawa County, Michigan near the outlet of Lake Macatawa. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The Holland Harbor Light, known as Big Red, is located in Park Township, Michigan at the entrance of a channel connecting Lake Michigan with Lake Macatawa, and which gives access to the city of Holland, Michigan. The lighthouse is on the south side of the channel. There are two modern lights marking the ends of the breakwaters that extend out into the Lake Michigan beyond the lighthouse.

It also owns and operates brewpub-style restaurants and spirits-tasting rooms located across West Michigan. The company's craft-style beer brands Dragon's Milk, Tangerine Space Machine, and spirits brands Dragon's Milk Origin, Beer Barrel Bourbon among others, are distributed throughout the United States and exported to Canada, Europe and Asia. After the sale of Bell's to Kirin, New Holland Brewing Company became the largest craft brewery in the state of Michigan.

Beechwood is an unincorporated community in Ottawa County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is a census-designated place (CDP) for statistical purposes, but is not an incorporated municipality. The population was 3,121 at the 2020 census. The CDP is considered to be part of the Holland urban area. It is located on the north shore of Lake Macatawa mostly within Holland Charter Township, although a small portion lies within Park Township.

The Macatawa River, also known as the Black River, is located in the lower part of Ottawa County, Michigan, which drains into Lake Macatawa and eventually into Lake Michigan. The main stream is 16.8 miles (27.0 km) long.Preluding the migration of Dutch settlers, the region was originally inhabited by three Anishinaabe nations: the Ottawa, Ojibwe, and Potawatomi. Together they comprised the Council of Three Fires who spoke the Algonquian languages. The indigenous name of the river is approximated to be the word “mak-a-tew-gamie”, meaning “black water” in the Ottawa dialect. Because they spoke oral languages, the name was written by the European immigrants in twenty-five variations, which led to the mis-phoneticized word Macatawa used today.The Macatawa River Greenway is a corridor of land along the river including a number of private and public parcels that provides a green highway for wildlife and recreational opportunities for people along the water. Land along the Macatawa River open to the public includes: Upper Macatawa Natural Area, Hawthorn Pond, Adams Street Landing, Ridge Point Community Church Natural Area, Paw Paw Park, Windmill Island, Window on the Waterfront Park, Dunton Park, Kollen Park and Holland State Park. A number of entities contribute to the management of the public areas along the Macatawa River Greenway including: Outdoor Discovery Center Macatawa Greenway (non-profit), Ottawa County Parks and Recreation Commission, City of Holland, Zeeland Township, Holland Township and Park Township.
