J. H. Campbell Generating Plant is a 1,420 MW, three-unit coal-fired generating plant in West Olive, Michigan which uses sub-bituminous coal. It is owned and operated by CMS Energy.

The Pigeon River is a small river flowing to Lake Michigan on the western Lower Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. The river is approximately 12.9 miles (20.8 km) long and drains an area of 61.7 square miles (160 km2) in a generally rural area situated between the cities of Holland and Grand Haven. Grand Haven Golf Club is a public golf course located just south of Grand Haven, Michigan. Very close to the Lake Michigan shore, the golf course takes advantage of the thick hardwood forest and natural sand dunes of the southwest Michigan shoreline. Golf Digest magazine ranked the club as "one of the nation's Top 50 public courses" for over ten years. The club has hosted several significant events, including the LPGA Shoreline Classic.

Park Township Airport (IATA: HLM, ICAO: KHLM, FAA LID: HLM) was a public airport located in Park Township, 3 mi (5 km) northwest of Holland, Michigan, United States. Built in 1937, the airport was operated by Ottawa Aviation, an organization of local users whose aim was to promote the value of the airport to the surrounding community. The airport had a main paved runway (5/23) that was demolished around August 15, 2020, and an intersecting grass runway (12/30) that still exists today. With the failure of a millage, the airport no longer supports fixed wing aircraft.The airport was used for general aviation and had no regularly scheduled commercial flights. It was quite popular with ultralight and model aircraft. The airport was also home to the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1242.

New Holland Brewing Company is an American independent craft brewing and distilling company headquartered in Holland, Michigan. It also owns and operates brewpub-style restaurants and spirits-tasting rooms located across West Michigan. The company's craft-style beer brands Dragon's Milk, Tangerine Space Machine, and spirits brands Dragon's Milk Origin, Beer Barrel Bourbon among others, are distributed throughout the United States and exported to Canada, Europe and Asia. After the sale of Bell's to Kirin, New Holland Brewing Company became the largest craft brewery in the state of Michigan.
