Lagos State Governor's House

The Johnson Jakande Tinubu Park is a public park located close in Ikeja, Lagos. The park which was commissioned by the Lagos State Governor in December 2017, is a recreational space located within the proximity of The Office of the Governor, the Lagos State House of Assembly and the State Secretariat. The park is usually very busy during festive periods, but on a normal work day and during the weekends, residents and mostly workers within the environment visit the park to relax and recreate.

The Kanu Ndubuisi Park is a public park and recreational center located in Ikeja, Lagos. It is a green space created and managed by the Lagos State Parks and Garden Agency. The park has a lawn tennis court, a basketball court, a play area for children, seats and benches, patios and sheds and snacks stands. It has a large green area for residents to host picnics and relax. It is in close proximity to the Johnson Jakande Tinubu Park.

The Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls is an all-girls Independent college founded in 1991 by Chief Mrs. Leila Fowler in Nigeria. It is located in the Ikeja suburb of the city of Lagos.

Alawusa, commonly known as Alausa is a principal district in Ikeja, the state capital of Lagos State. It is the seat of the Lagos State Secretariat and offices of the Governor and Deputy-Governor of Lagos State. Alawusa also has a vibrant and growing Central Business District with several multinational business concerns like Cadbury Nigeria Plc and many others having their offices located in the area. It also has many low density residential estates like the Cornerstone Estate; MKO Abiola Gardens located within it. On October 4, 2020. Alhaji Muftau Toyin Bhadmus of the Odewale ruling house was installed as the new Baale of Alausa, Ikeja.

Radio Lagos 107.5 FM (also known as Tiwa n' Tiwa) began operations in 1977 as an offshoot of the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC). It is the first state-owned FM radio station in Lagos State.The station originally operated on two A.M. Frequencies (990 kHz.303mtrs and 918 kHz.327mtrs). The need for transformation produced Radio Lagos 107.5 FM (Tiwa n'Tiwa) under the control of the Lagos State Radio Service in 2001.Radio Lagos is the first predominantly specialized language station, with over 98% of its transmission in Yoruba and Egun, and approximately 2% for English bulletins. The station's target audience includes Yoruba speaking listeners in Lagos and the Nigerian diaspora.The appointment of Mr. Olajide Isiaka Lawal as General Manager of Radio Lagos has been authorized by Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Ikeja is the capital city of Lagos State in southwestern Nigeria. Its population, as of the 2006 census, is 313,196. Prior to the emergence of military rule in the early 1980s, Ikeja was a well planned, clean and quiet residential and commercial town with shopping malls, pharmacies and government reservation areas. It lies 10.5 miles (17 km) northwest of Lagos city. The Murtala Muhammed International Airport is located in the city. Ikeja is also home to Femi Kuti's Africa Shrine and Lagbaja's Motherland, both venues for live music. Its Ikeja City Mall is the largest mall on the Lagos State mainland. Ikeja also has its own radio station, broadcasting both in English (Eko FM) and in Yoruba (Radio Lagos).

Avi-Cenna International School is a government-approved co-educational British curriculum school located in the GRA part of Ikeja in Lagos State. Founded in 1989, the school focuses on the "promotion of moral and ethical values" with the view of "developing interpersonal and leadership skills" of her students.

Gani Fawehinmi Park, formerly known as Liberty Park, is a public green space located in Ojota, Lagos, Nigeria just by the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and Ikorodu Road Interchange, Lagos. The park was built in honor of the Nigerian human rights activist and lawyer Gani Fawehinmi to which a large statue of his was conspicuously placed in the middle of the garden. This statue measuring 44 feet tall was commissioned April 21, 2018 by the Lagos State Government. The garden also has little signposts that tell a brief story about his lifetime. Other sculptures, soft landscape and benches were incorporated to make the space attractive and befitting for relaxation and small events. It was the venue of the Yoruba Nation Rally that happened July 3, 2021

Lagos State University Teaching Hospital popularly known as LASUTH is a state-owned teaching hospital in Lagos, Nigeria, attached to the Lagos State University. It is in Ikeja – the state's capital.LASUTH also shares structures with the College of Medicine, Lagos State University. The hospital was established in 1955 from a small cottage health centre by the Old western region. It was converted to a teaching hospital in July 2001.

The MKO Abiola Park is a public park located at the Ikododu Road - Lagos/Ibadan Expressway Interchange in Ojota, Lagos. The green space was named after the Late Nigerian Politician and Philanthropist MKO Abiola. The park has a wide green landscape, some monuments and seats for relaxation. In June 2018, a 46 feet statue of MKO Abiola was situated in the park to honor his cause.
