Logan-Rogersville High School (LRHS) is a public high school for grades 9–12 located in Rogersville, Missouri as part of the Logan-Rogersville R-VIII School District. The National Center for Education Statistics classifies LRHS as a "rural fringe" locale, which is defined as a rural area that is less than or equal to 5 miles from an urban area. The mascot of LRHS is the wildcat with the colors of maroon and white.LRHS was the site for the Guinness World Records largest game of duck, duck, goose with 2,135 participants on October 7, 2011. On May 20, 2020, three high schools in Terre Haute, Indiana (Terre Haute North Vigo High School, Terre Haute South Vigo High School, and West Vigo High School) attempted to break the 2011 record held by Logan-Rogersville School District. However, the attempt was unsuccessful, and Guinness World Records still lists the Logan-Rogersville School District as the holder of the record.

Cody was an unincorporated community in southeastern Greene County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is currently within the city limits of Rogersville.Cody was located between Springfield and Rogersville at the intersection of U.S. Route 60 and Missouri Route 125.

Oak Grove Heights is an unincorporated community in eastern Greene County, Missouri, United States. It is located on Route 125, approximately five miles northwest of Rogersville and one mile south of the James River.The community grew around the location of the Oak Grove School which was two miles west of the James River community of Turners and just northeast of Turner Creek and the old St. Louis–San Francisco Railway (currently the BNSF Railway) which followed the stream course.

Logan is a school and small unincorporated community in southeastern Greene County, Missouri, United States. directly adjacent to Rogersville. It is located approximately 5 mi (8.0 km) west-northwest of Rogersville, one mile north of U.S. Route 60 and one mile west of Route 125. The community is centered on the school and includes several homes and the Logan Cemetery.The school and community was named for a local family.

It is part of the Springfield, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. Rogersville was formerly known as the "Raccoon Capital of the World". Turners or Turner is a small unincorporated community in Greene County, Missouri, United States. It lies on the southeast side of the James River floodplain approximately 3.5 miles east of U.S. Route 65 in east Springfield. The community lies at the intersection of Routes D and J near the confluence of Turner Creek with the James River. The old St. Louis–San Francisco Railway (currently the BNSF Railway) passed through the community.A post office called Turners has been in operation since 1889. The community carries the surname of an original owner of the site.

Pembina is an unincorporated community in northern Christian County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community was located at the intersection of Missouri routes 125 and U, approximately 1.5 miles north of Linden and Finley Creek. The Pembina Cemetery is approximately one mile to the northwest, across Parched Corn Hollow in the center of Section 33.

Pedelo Creek is a stream in Webster and Christian counties in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. It is a tributary of Finley Creek. The stream headwaters are in the southwestern corner of Webster County west of the community of Zenar. The stream flows west and then southwest into northern Christian County gaining the waters of Olie Lasley Spring then turns to the south and crosses under Missouri Route U. Its confluence with the Finley about three miles east of Linden.The Delaware Indians called the stream Pedlow Creek meaning shot pouch.

Linden is an unincorporated community in northern Christian County, Missouri United States. It is located approximately 4.5 miles northwest of Sparta on Route 125, where the highway crosses the Finley Creek. The river has been dammed, creating a small lake, Lake Lindenlure, just east of Route 125.Linden is part of the Springfield, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community's name is a transfer from Linden, Tennessee. A variant name was "Kenton". A post office called Kenton was established in 1860, and remained in operation until 1911.
