Third Haven Meeting House

WKHZ (1460 AM) is a radio station licensed to Easton, Maryland, United States. The station is owned by Bill Parris. In October 2010, the station was transferred from its former owner, First Media Radio, LLC, to Radio Broadcast Communications, Inc. The station's call letters were then changed from WEMD to WKHZ on December 30, 2010. The station became part of the KHZTV network with stations throughout Maryland including WAMD in Harford County and WYRE in Annapolis. Considered a multimedia platform with an internet TV channel playing videos and the audio on the networked radio stations, personalities such as Tracy Hart work as VJs.

The Easton Historic District is a historic district that covers most of the core of the town of Easton, Maryland. The town is the county seat of Talbot County. The state of Maryland is nearly split by the Chesapeake Bay, and Easton is located on the east side of the bay that is known as Maryland's Eastern Shore. Although the town is part of the east coast of the United States, the region's history goes back to a time when Maryland was a colonial province of England. The Easton Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It contains approximately 900 buildings mostly built in the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. Many of these buildings are residential, but the original business district, located on the west side, is also included. A notable exception to the continuity of the historic district and the construction dates is the original Quaker Third Haven Meeting House, which was constructed in the 1680s southeast of the main portion of the district.

Tidewater Inn is a historic hotel in Easton, Talbot County, Maryland, United States. It is a Colonial Revival brick, hip-roofed, four-story hotel with flanking three-story wings and an addition on the north wing. The original section was completed in 1949, with an addition to the north constructed in 1953. The floor plan of the original building is a flattened chevron shape. It served as the preeminent hostelry and community gathering place on the Maryland Eastern Shore during the time when new automobile-oriented transportation routes intensified the volume of visitors.The Tidewater Inn was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

The Talbot Resolves was a proclamation made by Talbot County citizens of the British Province of Maryland, on May 24, 1774. The British Parliament had decided to blockade Boston Harbor as punishment for a protest against taxes on tea. The protest became known as the Boston Tea Party. The Talbot Resolves was a statement of support for the city of Boston in the Province of Massachusetts Bay. The author of the Talbot Resolves is unknown. Speculation has been made that the author is Matthew Tilghman or a group of citizens that included Tilghman, Edward Lloyd IV, Nicholas Thomas, and Robert Goldsborough IV. All four were leading citizens of Talbot County, and they represented the county in a meeting of all of Maryland's counties held in June shortly after the reading of the Talbot Resolves. Within the next 14 months, statements or resolves were issued elsewhere in the colonies. The First and Second Continental Congresses met, and the American Revolutionary War began. A Declaration of Independence was made on July 4, 1776, and a new independent government for the state of Maryland was formed.

Trinity Cathedral is an Episcopal cathedral located in Easton, Maryland, United States. It is the seat of the Diocese of Easton. In 1980 it was included as a contributing property in the Easton Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Easton High School (EHS) is a four-year comprehensive public high school in Easton, Talbot County, Maryland, United States. It is one of two public high schools in Talbot County along with St. Michaels Middle/High School.

Saints Peter and Paul School is a parochial, Roman Catholic, co-educational, day school in Easton, Maryland. It is located in the heart of the Eastern Shore. The school serves an area of seven counties. The High School shares a campus with the Elementary School but has its own principal, staff and faculty. It is run by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Wilmington and is the only Catholic High School on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Talbot County Public Schools (TCPS) is a public school district that serves Talbot County, Maryland. With 8 schools, it is one of the smallest school districts in the state of Maryland. TCPS receives nearly a third of the county's budget—35.2% in 2024. As of July 2022, the superintendent of the district is Sharon M. Pepukayi, Ed.D. The board of education includes two student members, appointed by high school administrators, who hold a non-voting role; in 2024–25, the student board members are Brynn Lizewski and Gabriella Streaker.
