Tasman is an at-grade light rail station located in the center median of First Street at its intersection with Tasman Drive, after which the station is named, in San Jose, California. The station is owned by Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) and is served by the Blue Line and the Green Line of the VTA light rail system. This is the northernmost station served by both the Blue and Green lines and serves as one of the primary transfer points between the two lines.

Baypointe is an at-grade light rail station located in the center median of Tasman Drive at its intersection with Baypointe Parkway, after which the station is named, in San Jose, California. The station is owned by Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) and is served by the Blue Line and the Orange Line of the VTA light rail system. Baypointe station is the current northern terminus for the Blue Line. Baypointe station is differentiated from other VTA light rail stations as it features three tracks and two island platforms. Blue Line trains stop and reverse direction on the center track, while Orange Line trains use the two outer tracks. Passengers can make a cross platform transfer with either line in any direction.

The University of Silicon Valley (USV) is a private university in San Jose, California, in Silicon Valley. Founded in 1887 as Cogswell Polytechnical College, the first technical training institution in the West, the school is one of only two private universities, along with Stanford University, that are guaranteed a tax exemption in the Californian Constitution. USV is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission. Programs at Cogswell range from digital media to engineering, with an emphasis on digital animation, audio and music production, and video game design.

Lick Mill is a light rail station operated by Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). Lick Mill is served by the Orange and Green light rail lines. Lick Mill is VTA's recommended transfer point for Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) commuter rail and Capitol Corridor inter-city rail trains at Santa Clara – Great America station. Despite the similar names, VTA's Great America station is not the connection point, because it is about .6 miles (0.97 km) away from the ACE/Capitol Corridor station, while Lick Mill station is only .2 miles (0.32 km) away. The path between VTA station and the ACE/Capitol Corridor station is well signed but is not wheelchair accessible because of a staircase. Lick Mill is closed for up to 60 minutes after the events at the nearby Levi's Stadium to prevent crowds from overwhelming the station. VTA's Great America station (which is located closer to the stadium) has additional facilities to handle large crowds.

Rivermark of Santa Clara is a master-planned community in Santa Clara, California. built on a 152-acre (0.62 km2) parcel formerly owned by the State of California and previously used by Agnews Developmental Center. The community comprises retail space, parks, school, library, apartments, condominiums, townhouses, and houses (detached single-family homes). The Rivermark area has been described as "upscale", with many young professionals and families as residents.

The James Lick Mansion, in Santa Clara, California, is the estate of James Lick, who was the richest man in California at the time of his death in 1876. The estate is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This property was once part of the Rancho Ulistac land grant, a square league reaching from the Alviso shoreline southward and encompassing all the land between the Guadalupe River and Saratoga Creek.

Santa Clara – Great America station (called Great America station by ACE) is a train station in Santa Clara, California. It hosts Amtrak's Capitol Corridor trains and Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) trains. The station is close to Levi's Stadium and California's Great America. Amtrak service to Santa Clara began on May 21, 1993.Of the 75 California stations served by Amtrak, Great America was the 20th-busiest in FY2019, boarding or detraining an average of about 533 passengers daily.

River Oaks is an at-grade light rail station located in the center median of First Street at its intersection with River Oaks Parkway, after which the station is named, in San Jose, California. The station is owned by Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) and is served by the Blue Line and the Green Line of the VTA light rail system.

The San José–Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility (abbreviated RWF; officially the San Jose/Santa Clara Water Pollution Control Plant) is a wastewater treatment plant located in the Alviso neighborhood of San Jose, California. The facility treats 110 million U.S. gallons (420 megaliters) of wastewater per day, with a capacity of up to 167 million U.S. gal/d (630 ML/d), making it the largest tertiary treatment plant in the western United States. It serves 1.5 million residents and over 17,000 business facilities in eight cities. The 2,600-acre (1,100 ha) site is operated by the San Jose Environmental Services Department and jointly owned by the cities of San Jose and Santa Clara. It began operations in 1956 to address severe water pollution issues and played a key role in San Jose's aggressive annexation program during the 1950s and 1960s.

Kathleen MacDonald High School is a comprehensive, coeducational public high school in San Jose, California, United States. It is one of four high schools in the Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD). MacDonald is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges through the 2025–2026 school year.

Agnews Developmental Center was a psychiatric and medical care facility, located in Santa Clara, California. In 1885, the center, originally known as "The Great Asylum for the Insane", was established as a facility for the care of the mentally ill. The main structure, a red brick edifice, was located on land near Agnew's Village, which later became part of Santa Clara. By the early twentieth century, Agnews boasted the largest institutional population in the South San Francisco Bay area, and was served by its own train station which stood at the west end of Palm Drive across Lafayette Street; the station building remained until vandalism and fire precipitated its demolition in the 1990s. In 1926, the center was expanded to include a second campus about 2 miles (3 km) to the east in San Jose (37°24′32″N 121°55′53″W). Individuals with developmental disabilities were first admitted to a special rehabilitation program in 1965. Programs for the mentally ill were discontinued in 1972. From then to 2011, when the property was sold, the center was used for the care and treatment of persons with developmental disabilities.
