Newbury is an incorporated village in the town of Newbury in Orange County, Vermont, United States. The population was 447 at the 2020 census.

North Haverhill is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Haverhill, New Hampshire, United States. It is one of several villages in the town of Haverhill. As of the 2020 census, North Haverhill had a population of 843. The village is centered on the junction of New Hampshire Routes 10 and 116, on a bluff overlooking the Connecticut River, the western boundary of New Hampshire. It is situated in the middle of a fertile agricultural area at the western base of the White Mountains. Route 10, following the Connecticut River, connects the village of Woodsville to the north with the towns of Piermont, Orford, Lyme, and Hanover to the south. Route 116 heads east into the White Mountains, leading to the towns of Benton, Easton, and Franconia. In 1972 the county courthouse and related offices moved from Woodsville into a new office complex on Route 10, just north of the North Haverhill village center. North Haverhill has a separate ZIP code (03774) from other areas in the town of Haverhill.

Wildwood Hall is a historic house on Moore's Hill Road in Newbury, Vermont. Also known locally as The Castle, it is a distinctive example of Shingle style architecture, designed as a country house by William M. Butterfield and completed in 1895. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Dean Memorial Airport is a public use airport in Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States. It is owned by the town of Haverhill and is located three nautical miles (5.56 km) northeast of the central business district. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a basic general aviation facility.Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned 5B9 by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.

The Daniel Carr House is a historic house on Brier Hill Road in Haverhill, New Hampshire. Built about 1796, the house is most notable for the high quality folk murals drawn on its walls, most likely by the itinerant artist Rufus Porter between 1825 and 1830. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Oliverian Brook is a 13.1-mile-long (21.1 km) river in western New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Connecticut River, which flows to Long Island Sound. Oliverian Brook rises in the town of Benton, New Hampshire, on the western slopes of Mount Moosilauke on the northern outskirts of the village of Glencliff, at the juncture of Slide Brook and Still Brook. The brook flows south to near the center of Glencliff in the town of Warren before taking a sharp turn to the northwest and flowing through the center of Oliverian Notch, the westernmost of the major passes through the White Mountains. The brook passes through a flood control reservoir known as Oliverian Pond before entering the town of Haverhill, where it passes through the villages of East Haverhill and Pike before reaching the Connecticut River near Haverhill village. New Hampshire Route 25 closely follows Oliverian Brook from Glencliff to NH 10 near the Connecticut River.

Woodsville High School, in Woodsville, New Hampshire, is a public secondary school located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, serving the towns of Haverhill (including North Haverhill, East Haverhill, Woodsville, and Mountain Lakes), Bath, Warren, Piermont, and Benton.The school is operated by School Administrative Unit 23.

Bedell Bridge State Park, also known as Bedell Bridge State Historic Site, is a 74-acre (30 ha) state park located in Haverhill, New Hampshire, on the Connecticut River. It is open year-round and offers walking, picnicking, non-motorized boating, and fishing. A Fish and Game boat launch is located within the park.

The Bedell Bridge was a Burr truss covered bridge that spanned the Connecticut River between Newbury, Vermont and Haverhill, New Hampshire. Until its most recent destruction in 1979, it was, with a total length of 382 feet (116 m), the second-longest covered bridge in the United States. The bridge was divided into two spans of roughly equal length, and rested on a central pier and shore abutments constructed from mortared rough stone. The eastern abutment has been shored up by the addition of a concrete footing. The bridge was 23 feet (7.0 m) wide, with a roadway width of 18.5 feet (5.6 m). Because the state line is the western low-water mark of the Connecticut River, most of the bridge was in New Hampshire; only the western abutment is in Vermont.The site is now part of the 74-acre (30 ha) Bedell Bridge State Park in Haverhill, New Hampshire.

The South Newbury Village Historic District encompasses the surviving elements of a small industrial village in southern Newbury, Vermont. It includes five residences and several outbuildings, most of which are agricultural in character, representing the area's shift in use in the 20th century. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
