St. Andrew's, an independent co-educational Catholic High School of approximately 475 Grade 8–12 students, serves young men and women from Greater Victoria.

Reynolds Secondary School is a public secondary school in the Greater Victoria suburb of Saanich, British Columbia, Canada. The school is known for its numerous specialized programs including Flexible Studies, French immersion, Robotics club, Band, and its Centre for Soccer Excellence. Reynolds also offers many career planning programs such as CP Theatre, CP Art, CP Recreation, CP Tourism, CP Journalism and co-op. Reynolds is an active supporter of the Cops for Cancer fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. The school holds various fundraisers such as car washes, head shaves, and bake sales to raise money for the cause. In 2010, students and staff raised over $52,000, $80,000 in 2011 and over $100,000 in 2012.

Spectrum Community School is a high school in the Greater Victoria suburb of Saanich, British Columbia, Canada. It is part of the Greater Victoria School District and serves the western portion of the district. Spectrum was established in 1974 as a replacement for Mount View High School and the school moved into the new facility in 1976. In 2005 a $5.5 million addition and renovation was completed. There are four computer labs and an active interactive whiteboard resources program. The school has an Aboriginal Nations Education program and accepts international students from the Victoria International High School program. The school's auditorium is a venue for the Greater Victoria Performing Arts festival. In 2006 students voted to select a team name and the nickname "Thunder" was chosen.

Point Ellice House is located in the Rock Bay neighbourhood of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Point Ellice House was designated a National Historic Site in 1966 and became a Provincial Historic Site in 1975. The house is also listed on the City of Victoria's heritage registry. The site is under the management of the Métis Nation of British Columbia.

CBCV-FM is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts the programming of the CBC Radio One network in Victoria, British Columbia, and throughout Vancouver Island, the Southern Gulf Islands, and the Sunshine Coast. It also reaches out to parts of Washington north of Everett, but is harder to listen to because of KSER on 90.7. It was the most listened to radio station in the Victoria Market in the Fall 2018 Numeris Diary Survey.

Rithet's Bog is a restored lowland peat bog located in Saanich, British Columbia, Canada. The bog and its surroundings are protected as Rithet's Bog Conservation Area, a municipal park which covers an area of approximately 38 hectares (94 acres). The land was donated to the District of Saanich by the Guinness family in 1994. While the landscape was significantly altered for agricultural use beginning in the late 1800s, extensive restoration efforts have helped the bog ecosystems return.

1114 Arthur Currie Lane is an historic building in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.It was the pre-World War I home of General Sir Arthur William Currie . Currie became Canada's first full general in 1915, and was placed in charge of the entire Canadian Corps, independent of the British Army, by 1917. He is given credit for the success of the Battle of Vimy Ridge in 1917 and was knighted by King George V. Currie was also an educator, and from 1920 until his death in 1933 he served as Principal and Vice Chancellor of McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. His home, built in 1892, is a fine example of a small Queen Anne cottage with Italianate features. Its original fieldstone wall and mature plantings surrounding the house lend to the value. It is part of the Catherine Street Heritage Conservation Area and is highly visible from below on the pedestrian walkway, and across the Selkirk Water.

The Bay Street Substation is an historic building in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It is located downtown, at the intersection of Bay and Government Streets.

Michael Wayne Dunahee (May 12, 1986 – disappeared March 24, 1991) is a Canadian missing child who disappeared from the playground at Blanshard Park Elementary School in Victoria, British Columbia on March 24, 1991 and has never been found or seen since. Michael was last seen that day around 12:30 pm at the playground as his mother Crystal Dunahee was participating in a women’s football practice to which his father was a spectator. Although he disappeared metres from his parents, no witnesses to his disappearance have ever been identified. Michael's disappearance became one of the largest police investigations in Canadian history, and to this day, over 11,000 tips have been received by the police. The case was a major story for many years, and was reported across Canada and the United States. However, despite a large number of tips and a CA$100,000 reward, the police still do not have any solid leads in the case.

University Canada West (UCW) is a private, for-profit university in British Columbia, Canada. It was founded in 2005 by David F. Strong, the former president of the University of Victoria. UCW was purchased in 2008 by the Eminata Group and in 2014 sold to Global University Systems, its present owners. Based in downtown Vancouver, the university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in business and management.
