Comyn Ching Triangle is a triangular city block at the Seven Dials junction in Covent Garden, London. It is bounded by Monmouth, Mercer and Shelton Streets, and comprises a perimeter of terraced buildings surrounding Ching Court, a public space. A 1980s regeneration of the block by the architecture firm Terry Farrell and Partners is considered an exemplar of British postmodern architecture.

London Film School (LFS) is a film school in London and is situated in a converted brewery in Covent Garden, London, neighbouring Soho, a hub of the UK film industry. It is the oldest film school in the UK.LFS was founded in 1956 by Gilmore Roberts as the London School of Film Technique (LSFT). Originally based on Electric Avenue in Brixton, the school moved to its current premises on Shelton Street in 1966, after a brief parenthesis in Charlotte Street, and changed its name to London Film School in 1969. From 1974 to 2000, it was known as the London International Film School (LIFS), and reverted to the name London Film School in 2001. LFS offers various degrees at postgraduate level: an MA in Filmmaking, an MA in Screenwriting, and, in partnership with the University of Exeter, an MA in International Film Business and a PhD in Film by Practice. It also offers a range of short and part-time professional development courses under the LFS Workshops banner. LFS recruits students from all over the world and is specifically constituted as an international community; around 70% of its students are from outside the United Kingdom. LFS is one of ScreenSkills' recognised training providers. In recent years the school has been named one of the top international film schools by Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.The school's current interim director is Peter Holliday and chairman is Greg Dyke.

Seven Dials is a road junction and neighbourhood in the St Giles district of the London Borough of Camden, within the greater Covent Garden area in the West End of London. Seven streets of Seven Dials area converge at the roughly circular central roundabout, at the centre of which is a column bearing six sundials – with the column itself acting as the seventh sundial. The Seven Dials Trust owns and maintains the column and the sundials and looks after the public realm in collaboration with the local authorities, major land owners, Historic England and other stakeholders. The Seven Dials area retains the original 17th century layout and is the only area of London remaining from the Stuart England. A time plaque nearby helps visitors of all ages to deduce the time of the day fairly accurately.

In 1835, William Spicer, formerly the proprietor of the Tower at Tower street in the Seven Dials became the pub keeper. The 1842 will of "William Filler, Licensed Victualler of Two Brewers Public House, Little Saint Andrews Street, Seven Dials, Middlesex" is held in The National Archives, in Kew, London.Some time before 1940, the address was changed from 6 Little St Andrew Street to 40 Monmouth Street.It is a "theatrical pub", popular with actors and film school students. The pub is part of the Taylor Walker pub chain.In the late 1990s it was also a popular establishment for those working in hairdressing salons, clothing shops and media companies in the surrounding neighbourhood. The eclectic mix of theatre goers, film students and local workers constituted a unique ambience.

The Donmar Warehouse is a 251-seat, not-for-profit theatre in Covent Garden, London, England. It first opened on 18 July 1977. Sam Mendes, Michael Grandage and Josie Rourke have all served as artistic director, a post held since 2019 by Michael Longhurst. The theatre has a diverse artistic policy that includes new writing, contemporary reappraisals of European classics, British and American drama and small-scale musical theatre. As well as presenting at least six productions a year at its home in Covent Garden, every year the Donmar tours one in-house production in the UK.

The Crown is a pub in Covent Garden, London, at 43 Monmouth Street facing on to Seven Dials and Shorts Gardens. The pub was established in 1833. The ceramic tiling outside is original.It was known as The Clock House in the time of Charles Dickens, when it was a "hot bed of villainy", in an area well known for prostitutes and pickpockets.The pub is part of the Taylor Walker pub chain.
