London Film School (LFS) is a film school in London and is situated in a converted brewery in Covent Garden, London, neighbouring Soho, a hub of the UK film industry. It is the oldest film school in the UK.LFS was founded in 1956 by Gilmore Roberts as the London School of Film Technique (LSFT). Originally based on Electric Avenue in Brixton, the school moved to its current premises on Shelton Street in 1966, after a brief parenthesis in Charlotte Street, and changed its name to London Film School in 1969. From 1974 to 2000, it was known as the London International Film School (LIFS), and reverted to the name London Film School in 2001. LFS offers various degrees at postgraduate level: an MA in Filmmaking, an MA in Screenwriting, and, in partnership with the University of Exeter, an MA in International Film Business and a PhD in Film by Practice. It also offers a range of short and part-time professional development courses under the LFS Workshops banner. LFS recruits students from all over the world and is specifically constituted as an international community; around 70% of its students are from outside the United Kingdom. LFS is one of ScreenSkills' recognised training providers. In recent years the school has been named one of the top international film schools by Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.The school's current interim director is Peter Holliday and chairman is Greg Dyke.

MetFilm School (MFS) is a private film school based in London within Ealing Studios. MetFilm consists of MetFilm School (London and Berlin), MetFilm Production, MetFilm Sales, MetFilm Features, and ScreenSpace.

The Donmar Warehouse is a 251-seat, not-for-profit theatre in Covent Garden, London, England. It first opened on 18 July 1977. Sam Mendes, Michael Grandage and Josie Rourke have all served as artistic director, a post held since 2019 by Michael Longhurst. The theatre has a diverse artistic policy that includes new writing, contemporary reappraisals of European classics, British and American drama and small-scale musical theatre. As well as presenting at least six productions a year at its home in Covent Garden, every year the Donmar tours one in-house production in the UK.

Long Acre is a street in the City of Westminster in central London. It runs from St Martin's Lane, at its western end, to Drury Lane in the east. The street was completed in the early 17th century and was once known for its coach-makers, and later for its car dealers.

Earlham Street Market is a street market in situated in the Seven Dials area of Covent Garden on a short road between Shaftesbury Avenue and Monmouth Street. Licences to trade are issued by Camden London Borough Council. The market has street food and clothing for sale. It has 24 pitches and is open from Monday to Saturday, 10.00 to 16.00.

Food for Thought was a vegetarian restaurant in the Seven Dials district of London's Covent Garden. Founded in 1971 in a former banana warehouse, it later closed in 2015 due to rising rents.

The Mercers' Arms was a pub at 17 Mercer Street, in London's Covent Garden, at the corner with Shelton Street. It closed as a pub in about 1973, and is now a private dining club.The earliest recorded landlord is a Robert Abraham in 1792, and the 1797 insurance document for the then landlord, Alexander Ogston, is held in the National Archives.

Kell Brothers were engravers and printers in Castle Street, Holborn, London, who specialised in lithographic prints. They were active from 1860 to the early 1870s.

Covent Garden is a London Underground station serving Covent Garden and the surrounding area in the West End of London.
