Pembroke is a city and county seat in Bryan County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 2,513. It is located approximately 35 miles west of Savannah, Georgia, and approximately 20 miles south of Statesboro, Georgia. Pembroke is part of the Savannah metropolitan statistical area.

WSVH (91.1 FM) is a 96,000-watt public radio station broadcasting from Savannah, Georgia, and transmitting from the WVAN-TV 9 (GPB TV) tower to the west in Pembroke, Georgia, north of Fort Stewart. It provides the radio service of Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) serves the upper Georgia coast and areas well inland, and adjacent areas of far southern South Carolina. The station's signal is simulcast by GPB-owned WWIO-FM 88.9 in Brunswick, Georgia. Together, the two stations serve the entire Georgia coastline. Their signals can be heard from Beaufort, South Carolina to Fernandina Beach, Florida.

Bryan County High School is a public high school in Pembroke, Georgia, United States. The school mascot is the Redskin. The current campus opened in the 1985–86 school year, and is connected to Bryan County Middle School. The current principal is Russ Winter, who has served since the 2023-24 school year.

It is on the outskirts of Savannah, It is located on Georgia Route 204 about 7 miles (11 km) east of Pembroke, Georgia, and about 23 miles (37 km) west of Savannah. The community is centered around an intersection of GA SR 204 and Black Creek Church Road, which is a county road. The Georgia Central Railway which runs parallel to GA SR 204 (until a point about 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Ellabell) also passes through Ellabell. Ellabell is the location of Glen Echo, which is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Ellabell is located in the Savannah metropolitan area. Glen Echo is a historic plantation house near Ellabell, Georgia, United States. The house was built circa 1773 and is an early example of Plantation Plain style. Records show that the land of Glen Echo Plantation was granted in the colonial era through a king's grant to a member of the Bird family.
