Park Mary Historic District

Jefferson Historic District is a national historic district located at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. The district encompasses 161 contributing buildings, 2 contributing sites, and 22 contributing structures in a predominantly residential section of Lafayette. It developed between about 1853 and 1951 and includes representative examples of Italianate, Greek Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Notable contributing resources include the Deutsche Evangelische Kirche (1905), Isador Metzger House (c. 1866), Hubert Gilmartin House (c. 1868), B.F. Biggs Pump Factory Building (1872, 1885–1894), Deutsche Methodist Kirche (1885), Herman & Mary Fletemeyer House (c. 1897), Mohr House (c. 1865), Warrenberg-Reule Double House (c. 1878), Alfred Gaddis House (c. 1865), Wabash Valley House (1862), Haywood Tag Company Building (1928), and Jefferson High School (1927).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Franciscan Health Lafayette Central is no longer a hospital, but houses Franciscan Health Community Education, various medical offices and the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing (the only hospital-based nursing school in the state of Indiana). Franciscan Health Lafayette Central, previously known as St. Elizabeth Central, was a 155-bed hospital in Lafayette, Indiana, United States, and part of the Franciscan Health hospital system. Previously known as the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, the hospital was renamed in 2009 during the construction of St. Elizabeth East. In the 1980s it was known as St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Saint James Lutheran Church and School located in Lafayette, Indiana was founded in 1850 by German immigrants, is a member of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod and is a Confessional Lutheran congregation with approximately 800 active members. Average weekly worship attendance is approximately 550 at four services. The school associated with the church was also founded in 1850, and is the oldest school in Tippecanoe County. The school serves children from age 2 through grade 8. Current enrollment is approximately 225. Saint James Lutheran School is accredited by the state of Indiana, and National Lutheran School Accreditation.

The Pottlitzer House at 801 Brown St. is in the historic Centennial Neighborhood in Lafayette, Indiana. This Pottlitzer house was constructed in 1893 by Leo and Minnie Pottlitzer. It is a mixture of Colonial Revival, Chateau and Queen Anne styles. When constructed it cost $9000, about $260,000 in today's value. The finials and oversized gables with low relief sculptures are indicative of the eclectic style popular in the late 19th century. The most notable feature, the tall spires on the roof, are the only known extant residential example of this style in Lafayette. The Pottlitzer House caught on fire in early 2015, severely damaging the rear of the structure.

Perrin Historic District is a national historic district located at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. The district encompasses 173 contributing buildings and 2 contributing structures in a predominantly residential section of Lafayette. It developed between about 1869 and 1923 and includes representative examples of Italianate, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, Stick Style / Eastlake movement, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Notable contributing buildings include the James Perrin House (1869, c. 1890), John Heinmiller House (c. 1885), James H. Cable House (c. 1898), Adam Herzog House (1878), Coleman-Gude House (1875), Frank Bernhardt House (1873), August Fisher Cottage (c. 1910), John Beck House (1887), an William H. Sarles Bungalow (1923).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Enterprise Hotel, also known as Gasthaus Alt Heidelberg, is a historic hotel building located at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. It was built in 1895, and is a three-story, five-bay, rectangular, Italianate style brick building, with rear additions. It measures 42 feet wide and 32 feet deep. It is historically significant as a European style tavern / inn.: 2–3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Centennial Neighborhood District is a national historic district located at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana, United States. The area originated as the Bartholomew and Davis Additions to Lafayette in 1829. Growth came rapidly after the Wabash and Erie Canal arrived in 1843, and continued with the arrival of the railroad in 1853. The Centennial Neighborhood Historic District takes its name from the Centennial School, which was constructed in 1876 on the centennial of the nation. The school was located on the northeast corner of Brown Street at North 6th Street. It has since been removed and a park was created at its original location.

James H. Ward House is a historic home located at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. It was built about 1875, and is a two-story Italianate / Second Empire style brick dwelling, with a 3+1⁄2-story mansard roofed tower. It features deep overhanging eaves with corner brackets, asymmetrical massing, and an ornate semi-hexagonal, two-story projecting bay. Also on the property is a contributing carriage house.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Upper Main Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Sixth Street was the City of Lafayette's eastern boundary when it was originally platted. By 1840, the boundary was extended to include Lake Erie and Wabash Railroad at Eleventh Street. This area became the cities commercial center. Businesses around Eleventh Street developed to meet the traveling publics needs. The Enterprise Hotel, at 1015 Main Street, as well as the Alt Heidelberg, American Lafayette and the Derby Hotel were early established by 1899.

The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lafayette in Indiana. It is located at 1207 Columbia Street in Lafayette, Indiana. It is also a contributing property in the St. Mary Historic District.

The Marian Apartments, also known as Marian Flats, is a historic apartment building located at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. It was designed by Oliver W. Pierce, Jr. and built in 1907. It is a three-story, rectangular, brick building with limestone and wood trim. It features polygonal three-story projecting bays.They were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

William Potter House, also known as the Potter House, is a historic home located at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. It was built in 1855, and is a two-story, Greek Revival style brick dwelling, with a front gable roof. A rear addition was added about 1880. The entrance features Doric order columns and opposing pilasters.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
