The Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) was an agency of the Government of India, part of the Department of Financial Services of the Ministry of Finance. Set up in January 1987 by the Rajiv Gandhi government, its objective was to determine sickness of industrial companies and to assist in reviving those that may be viable and shutting down the others. On 1 December 2016, the Narendra Modi government dissolved BIFR and referred all proceedings to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) as per provisions of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.

State Trading Corporation building (also known as Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan) in New Delhi, India, was designed by the architect Raj Rewal, and is home to the government-owned State Trading Corporation of India. Built between 1976 and 1989, it is considered to be an important example of modernist architecture in post-Independence India. Rewal used elements from the Japanese Metabolism style, but departed from it by drawing inspiration from Mughal architecture, as seen in the polychromatic sandstone cladding, instead of concrete. The "structurally expressive" design employs Vierendeel trusses. Apart from offices, the building houses the Central Cottage Industries Emporium, a government-run store that retails Indian crafts products.

Jantar Mantar is located in the modern city of New Delhi. “Jantar Mantar” literally means “instruments for measuring the harmony of the heavens”. It consists of 13 architectural astronomy instruments. The site is one of five built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur, from 1723 onwards, revising the calendar and astronomical tables. Jai Singh, born in 1688 into a royal Rajput family that ruled the regional kingdom, was born into an era of education that maintained a keen interest in astronomy. There is a plaque fixed on one of the structures in the Jantar Mantar observatory in New Delhi that was placed there in 1910 mistakenly dating the construction of the complex to the year 1710. Later research, though, suggests 1724 as the actual year of construction. Its height is 723 feet (220 m). The primary purpose of the observatory was to compile astronomical tables, and to predict the times and movements of the sun, moon and planets. Some of these purposes nowadays would be classified as astronomy. Completed in 1724, the Delhi Jantar Mantar had decayed considerably by 1857 uprising. The Ram Yantra, the Samrat Yantra, the Jai Prakash Yantra and the Misra Yantra are the distinct instruments of Jantar Mantar. The most famous of these structure, the Jaipur, had also deteriorated by the end of the nineteenth century until in 1901 Maharaja Ram Singh set out to restore the instrument.

Janpath is a Delhi Metro station on the Violet Line under the metro's phase III expansion. It is part of a plan to introduce a parallel line to the busy Yellow Line corridor as well as provide quicker access to the Blue Line by connecting Mandi House and Central Secretariat. The station was opened on 26 June 2014.

The Fifteenth Finance Commission (XV-FC or 15-FC) is an Indian Finance Commission constituted in November 2017 and is to give recommendations for devolution of taxes and other fiscal matters for five fiscal years, commencing 2020-04-01. The commission's chairman is Nand Kishore Singh, a senior member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) since March 2014, with its full-time members being Ajay Narayan Jha, Ashok Lahiri and Anoop Singh. In addition, the commission also has a part-time member in Ramesh Chand. Shaktikanta Das served as a member of the commission from November 2017 to December 2018.

Palika Bazaar, is an underground market located between the inner and outer circle of Connaught Place, Delhi, India. It is named after Palika Bazaar of Mumbai. Palika Bazaar hosts 380 numbered shops selling a diverse range of items; however, the market is dominated by electronic items and clothing. Palika Bazaar was set up in 1979,but since the 1990s it has seen a decline in customers. Palika Bazaar is estimated to have some 15,000 people within its confines at any given time and also attracts many foreign tourists. It is known for its reasonably priced items and is a famous tourist attraction. It also has a reputation for a wide availability of illegal products such as pornography, stolen goods, fake designer products and unlicensed CDs, software and movies. Police conduct regular raids to recover stolen or counterfeit merchandise, but this has failed to put an end to the illegal activity in the market. It has been listed as a notorious market since 2009 by the USTR for being an underground market with large amounts of counterfeit products including pirated software and media.

The Regal Theatre also known as the Regal Cinema was a single screen cinema hall and theatre situated in Connaught Place in New Delhi, India.

Madame Tussauds India is a wax museum and tourist attraction It is the twenty-third location for the Tussauds, which was set up by French sculptor Marie Tussaud. Madame Tussauds is owned and operated by Merlin Entertainments. Now it has been shifted to Noida in July 2022. On May 5, 2022 the attraction announced on its social media page that it will be opening soon at DLF Mall of India, Noida as Madame Tussauds India.

The American Library in New Delhi is a library under the supervision of the United States embassy, situated in the commercial hub of New Delhi inside the American Center (the office of US government officials in India). Opened in 1951, the Library was established to promote understanding between the people of India and the United States. The library has books on topics related to American society, American politics, American culture, and the American constitution which it serves to general public, students, teachers, and researchers.

The Palika Kendra is a 21-story building on Sansad Marg, New Delhi, India. Designed by Kuldip Singh and Mahendra Raj, it is among the few structures in Delhi that feature Brutalist architecture. After its inauguration in 1984 with a height of 91 metres (299 ft), it remained one of the tallest buildings in Delhi for years. It serves as the headquarters of the New Delhi Municipal Council and hosts the main server and the command and control centre of the civic body. The Palika Kendra is among 62 buildings and structures that the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage is trying to get designated as modern heritages of the post-independent India. On the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 31 January 2019, the Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu, inaugurated a grand wall mural of Gandhi made up of terracotta kulhars on a wall of the building.

The Imperial New Delhi is a historic luxury hotel opened in 1936 in New Delhi, India. It is located on Janpath, close to Rajiv Chowk. It was New Delhi's first grand hotel.

The National Charkha Museum is a spinning wheel museum located in Connaught Place, New Delhi. This has been built on the already built garden in Palika Bazaar. It has been jointly constructed by the New Delhi Municipal Council and the Khadi Development and Village Industries Commission. The Museum was inaugurated on 21 May 2017, by the then BJP National President Amit Shah. The museum features 26 feet (8 meters) long and 13 feet (4 meters) high chromium stainless steel spinning wheel (charkha). It is weighing five tons and there is no effect of heat on it. Also it is rust resistant and non-magnetic. This Charkha is the world's largest spinning wheel. This museum depicts the history and evolution of Charkha, from a humble instrument to a symbol of Nationalism. This tool or machine empowered Indian citizens, as they started weaving indigenous (made in India) cloths using the Charkha. The museum has a nominal entry fee of Rs 20. It was established by The president of BJP Amit Shah on 21 May 2017. It has been jointly constructed by New Delhi Municipal Council and the Khadi Development and Village Industries Commission.
