The Barakhamba Road metro station is located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro. It was constructed by the Shapoorji Pallonji Group.It is located on Barakhamba Road near Modern School and the Statesman House, which houses many offices, banks, the Oxford bookstore and numerous other commercial institutions.

Janpath (meaning People's Path, formerly known as Queensway), is one of the main roads in New Delhi. It starts out as Radial Road 1 in Connaught Place, adjacent to Palika Bazaar, and runs north–south perpendicular to, and past Rajpath (the "Rulers' path"). Originally called Queen's Way, it was an important part of Lutyens' design of the Lutyens' Delhi, upon the inauguration of new capital of India in 1931. Janpath Market is one of the most famous markets for tourists (both Indian and foreign) in New Delhi. The market essentially is a long line of boutique stores selling products which are hard to find in the malls and multi-chain stores of the city. The long line of boutiques is for budget travellers and shoppers, buyers of handicrafts and garments, curio and numerous Indian-style fast-food places.

The Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) was an agency of the Government of India, part of the Department of Financial Services of the Ministry of Finance. Set up in January 1987 by the Rajiv Gandhi government, its objective was to determine sickness of industrial companies and to assist in reviving those that may be viable and shutting down the others. On 1 December 2016, the Narendra Modi government dissolved BIFR and referred all proceedings to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) as per provisions of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.

Agrasen Ki Baoli (also known as Ugrasen Ki Baoli; transl. Baoli of Agrasen) is a 60-meter long and 15-meter wide historical step well in New Delhi, India.Located on Hailey Road, near Connaught Place, Jantar Mantar, it was designated a protected monument by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act of 1958. Although there are no known historical records to prove who built the stepwell, it is believed that it was originally built by the legendary king Agrasen, and the present architecture hints at it being rebuilt in the 14th century during the Tughlag or Lodi period of the Delhi Sultanate. The Baoli is open daily from 9 AM to 5:30 PM.

State Trading Corporation building (also known as Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan) in New Delhi, India, was designed by the architect Raj Rewal, and is home to the government-owned State Trading Corporation of India. Built between 1976 and 1989, it is considered to be an important example of modernist architecture in post-Independence India. Rewal used elements from the Japanese Metabolism style, but departed from it by drawing inspiration from Mughal architecture, as seen in the polychromatic sandstone cladding, instead of concrete. The "structurally expressive" design employs Vierendeel trusses. Apart from offices, the building houses the Central Cottage Industries Emporium, a government-run store that retails Indian crafts products.

Palika Bazaar, is an underground market located between the inner and outer circle of Connaught Place, Delhi, India. It is named after Palika Bazaar of Mumbai. Palika Bazaar hosts 380 numbered shops selling a diverse range of items; however, the market is dominated by electronic items and clothing. Palika Bazaar was set up in 1979,but since the 1990s it has seen a decline in customers. Palika Bazaar is estimated to have some 15,000 people within its confines at any given time and also attracts many foreign tourists. It is known for its reasonably priced items and is a famous tourist attraction. It also has a reputation for a wide availability of illegal products such as pornography, stolen goods, fake designer products and unlicensed CDs, software and movies. Police conduct regular raids to recover stolen or counterfeit merchandise, but this has failed to put an end to the illegal activity in the market. It has been listed as a notorious market since 2009 by the USTR for being an underground market with large amounts of counterfeit products including pirated software and media.

Connaught Place, officially known as Rajiv Chowk, is one of the main financial, commercial and business centres in New Delhi, Delhi, India. It houses the headquarters of several noted Indian firms and is a major shopping, nightlife and tourist destination in New Delhi. As of July 2018, Connaught Place was the ninth most expensive office location in the world with an annual rent of $1,650 per square metre ($153/sq ft).The main commercial area of the new city, New Delhi, occupies a place of pride in the city and are counted among the top heritage structures in New Delhi. It was developed as a showpiece of Lutyens' Delhi with a prominent Central Business District (Delhi). Named after Prince Arthur, 1st Duke of Connaught and Strathearn, construction work began in 1929 and was completed in 1933. It was designed by Robert Tor Russell. It was renamed in 1995 after former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi.The area today falls under the jurisdiction of New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and is therefore allotted a high priority in term of funds for maintenance and upkeep. New Delhi Traders Association (NDTA) is the association of establishments (like retails stores, restaurants, halls, offices) in Connaught Place. NDTA also plays a major role in liaising with government bodies like NDMC in order to represent the commercial interests and maintenance issues of Connaught Place establishments. A metro railway station built under it is also named Rajiv Chowk metro station.

The Fifteenth Finance Commission (XV-FC or 15-FC) is an Indian Finance Commission constituted in November 2017 and is to give recommendations for devolution of taxes and other fiscal matters for five fiscal years, commencing 2020-04-01. The commission's chairman is Nand Kishore Singh, a senior member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) since March 2014, with its full-time members being Ajay Narayan Jha, Ashok Lahiri and Anoop Singh. In addition, the commission also has a part-time member in Ramesh Chand. Shaktikanta Das served as a member of the commission from November 2017 to December 2018.

The Rajiv Chowk is a Delhi Metro station in Delhi, on the Blue and Yellow Lines. It is a transfer station between the Blue Line on the upper level and the Yellow Line on the lower level.It is one of the busiest stations on the network, serving Rajiv Chowk in the heart of Delhi. It handles 5 lakh passengers every day. Connaught Place metro station has area of about 39,503 square feet (3,669.9 m2).Many businesses and important buildings, restaurants, and cinemas are situated just outside the station. The station is constructed below Central Park. Connaught Place is officially known as Rajiv Chowk, formerly known as Connaught Circus. In September 1995, the Home Ministry decreed that henceforth, the 75-year-old Connaught Place (CP) will be known as Rajiv Chowk and Connaught Circus as Indira Chowk.

Janpath is a Delhi Metro station on the Violet Line under the metro's phase III expansion. It is part of a plan to introduce a parallel line to the busy Yellow Line corridor as well as provide quicker access to the Blue Line by connecting Mandi House and Central Secretariat. The station was opened on 26 June 2014.

This is brought about by accomplishing rural prosperity and growth through adopting environmentally harmonious farming systems, utilizing local natural resources and availing non farming opportunities integrating indigenous and global knowledge, people-centered development and empowerment approach.

The National Charkha Museum is a spinning wheel museum located in Connaught Place, New Delhi. This has been built on the already built garden in Palika Bazaar. It has been jointly constructed by the New Delhi Municipal Council and the Khadi Development and Village Industries Commission. The Museum was inaugurated on 21 May 2017, by the then BJP National President Amit Shah. The museum features 26 feet (8 meters) long and 13 feet (4 meters) high chromium stainless steel spinning wheel (charkha). It is weighing five tons and there is no effect of heat on it. Also it is rust resistant and non-magnetic. This Charkha is the world's largest spinning wheel. This museum depicts the history and evolution of Charkha, from a humble instrument to a symbol of Nationalism. This tool or machine empowered Indian citizens, as they started weaving indigenous (made in India) cloths using the Charkha. The museum has a nominal entry fee of Rs 20. It was established by The president of BJP Amit Shah on 21 May 2017. It has been jointly constructed by New Delhi Municipal Council and the Khadi Development and Village Industries Commission.
