The House at 15 Gilmore Street in Quincy, Massachusetts, is a well-preserved Craftsman bungalow. The 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in 1908 by Albert Nelson, the builder who developed Gilmore Street in response to the arrival of the railroad in the area in the 1880s. The front-gable house has extended eaves with exposed rafters along the sides, and the front gable projects over the porch, which is supported by thick square pillars on granite posts.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Winfield House was a historic house at 853 Hancock Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. Built c. 1880, it was a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure with exuberant Queen Anne styling. It was built by John Chamberlin, a traveling hardware salesman. The house was particularly distinctive for its onion-domed tower near the center of the structure, an unusual placement and topping for such a tower. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.Winfield House served as a restaurant for 50 years. The house was demolished in 1998 by its then owners, Eastern Nazarene College, to make way for a campus expansion; all that is left now is stairs leading up to an empty house lot and the elm tree. The carriage house and a portion of the main house floating staircase were moved to a private residence in Stoughton, MA.

The Dorothy Quincy Homestead is a US National Historic Landmark at 34 Butler Road in Quincy, Massachusetts. The house was originally built by Edmund Quincy II in 1686 who had an extensive property upon which there were multiple buildings. Today, the site consists of the Dorothy Quincy Homestead, which has been preserved as a museum and is open occasionally to the public.

The Dorothy Q Apartments are a historic apartment house at 36 Butler Road in Quincy, Massachusetts. It is a five-story brick Colonial Revival structure, consisting of two rectangular blocks joined at one end into a U shape. Its trim elements are in limestone, and include corner quoining, keystones over the windows, and a modillioned cornice. The complex was designed by Graves and Epps and built in 1929, during a period of rapid growth in the city. It is named for the Dorothy Quincy Homestead, which is next door.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Adams National Historical Park, formerly Adams National Historic Site, in Quincy, Massachusetts, preserves the home of United States presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams, of U.S. envoy to Great Britain, Charles Francis Adams, and of writers and historians Henry Adams and Brooks Adams. The national historical park's eleven buildings tell the story of five generations of the Adams family (from 1720 to 1927) including presidents, first ladies, envoys, historians, writers, and family members who supported and contributed to their success. In addition to Peacefield, home to four generations of the Adams family, the park's main historic features include the John Adams Birthplace (October 30, 1735), the nearby John Quincy Adams Birthplace (July 11, 1767), and the Stone Library (built in 1870 to house the books of John Quincy Adams and believed to be the first presidential library), containing more than 14,000 historic volumes in 12 languages. There is an off-site Visitors Center less than a mile (1.6 km) away. Regularly scheduled tours of the houses are offered in season (April 19 to November 10) by guided tour only. Access to United First Parish Church, where the Adamses worshipped and are buried, is provided by the congregation, for which they ask a small donation. The Church of the Presidents is across the town square from the Visitors Center and provides tours on a regular basis.

Peacefield, also called Peace field or Old House, is a historic home formerly owned by the Adams family of Quincy, Massachusetts. It was the home of United States Founding Father and U.S. president John Adams and First Lady Abigail Adams, and of U.S. president John Quincy Adams and his First Lady, Louisa Adams. It is now part of the Adams National Historical Park. The Stone Library requested by John Quincy Adams is directly next door. It was built by John Quincy's son Charles, a Peacefield resident, after the deaths of the two presidents.

The New England Telephone Building is a historic utility building at 10 Merrymount Road in Quincy, Massachusetts. This two-story Classical Revival brick structure was built c. 1906 and doubled in size in 1924, reaching its present proportions. It housed the telephone exchange of the New England Telephone Company until 1940, after which time it was converted to office space.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Newcomb Place is a historic house at 109 Putnam Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was probably built in the 1850s, and is one of the city's finest side-hall Greek Revival houses. It has a three-bay facade with fully pedimented gable, an entablature that wraps around the house, and front windows with simple projecting lintels. The house was owned in the second half of the 19th century by Joseph Newcomb, a painter.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Wollaston, Massachusetts, is a neighborhood in the city of Quincy, Massachusetts. Divided by Hancock Street or Route 3A, the Wollaston Beach side is known as Wollaston Park, while the Wollaston Hill side is known as Wollaston Heights. It is bordered by North Quincy to the north, Quincy Bay to the east, Merrymount and Quincy Center to the southeast and south, and Milton, Massachusetts, to the west. Wollaston is served by the Wollaston Station on the B branch of the MBTA Red Line, which runs north-south from Cambridge, Massachusetts (Alewife), to Braintree, Massachusetts (Train Station). Mount Wollaston, a similar-sounding 17th century designation for Quincy, is now given to a cemetery in the current neighborhood of Merrymount in Quincy.

The George A. Barker House is a historic house located at 74 Greenleaf Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. Built in the late 1870s for the son of a local granite quarry owner, it is a good local example of Queen Anne architecture with Stick style details. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 20, 1989.

The Woodward School has been educating and empowering young women in grades 6 - 12 since 1894. Located in Quincy, Massachusetts, near Quincy Center, it is the only private high school in the city. On top of its core syllabus, the school offers a wide curriculum which includes AP courses, Latin, French, Spanish, Visual Arts, Rhetoric, Computer Science Music, Theatre, and a robust internship program for high school students to name but a few.

The Randolph Bainbridge House is a historic house in Quincy, Massachusetts. Built about 1900, it is a good example of Shingle Style architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
