Orre Church

Pollestad is a village in Klepp municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located south of the lake Orrevatnet and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) southwest of the town of Bryne. Orre Church is located in Pollestad. It was built in 1950 to replace the nearly 800-year-old Old Orre Church located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) to the northwest in the village of Orre.The 0.46-square-kilometre (110-acre) village had a population of 794 people as of January 1st 2023 and a population density of 1,689.4 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,376/sq mi). The village has a store, gas station, school, day care, and sports club.

The population around Kleppe is growing rapidly, mostly in the form of suburban single-family homes, but also in the form of some apartment blocks. There is a shopping mall in Kleppe called Jærhagen.

Bore is a village in Klepp municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) northwest of the municipal centre of Kleppe. The village lies between the river Figgjoelva, the lake Orrevatnet, and the seashore. Bore Church sits just north of the river, just outside of the village. The Bore area is well known for its sandy beaches along the seashore.

The Ranglerock Festival is an annual rock festival that takes place in the small town of Bryne, located on the west coast of Norway. Usually arranged at the end of July. The festival was first held at Hognestad in 2002, then being called the Hoggstock Festival. The second year around, the arrangement was moved to Bryne, and in 2006 the name was changed to the Ranglerock Festival. The two-day festival is held indoors, and the last couple of years it has attracted about 600-700 people. The Hoggstock Festival received much attention in the local media as it often used slogans protesting against food festivals being arranged in the same period.

The village is located immediately northwest of the municipal centre of Kleppe, south of the village of Voll, and east of the village of Bore. The residential village of Verdalen has grown together with Kleppe since around 2000, forming one large 3.19-square-kilometre (1.23 sq mi) urban area with a population of 9,245 people in 2019.

The city is the administrative centre of the municipality of Time and it is also one of the 50 largest towns/cities in Norway. Bryne's location in the region of Stavanger/Sandnes and its road and rail links have made Bryne a popular area for commuters. The city is expanding rapidly and there have been reports of problems with schooling capacity. Bryne Church is located in the centre of the city and Time Church is located 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) east of the city .Bryne is located on the southern shores of the lake Frøylandsvatnet, about 30 minutes south of the city of Stavanger by train. The 5.43-square-kilometre (1,340-acre) city has a population (2021) of 12,465 and a population density of 2,206 inhabitants per square kilometre (5,710/sq mi). The city's urban area crosses over the municipal border to Klepp Municipality, with 0.98 square kilometres (240 acres) and 1,800 residents living in the neighboring municipality.
