Woodhull Lake

Eagle Lake is a 56-acre (23 ha) lake in central Oakland County, Michigan. The lake has a maximum depth of 20 feet (6.1 m). It is located in Waterford Township.The lake is west of Dixie Highway, north of Walton Boulevard, and east of Sashabaw Road. Eagle Lake connects with Woodhull Lake to the east.

Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School is a private, Roman Catholic school in Waterford Township, Michigan, United States. It is one of only 5 PK-12 schools in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit. The high school was established in 1960 and shares its Waterford campus with Our Lady of the Lakes Elementary School and Middle School. Also sharing the campus is Our Lady of the Lakes parish church. Our Lady of the Lakes parish school was established in 1956 as an elementary school. Our Lady of the Lakes is accredited by the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools

Drayton Plains is an unincorporated community in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The community is located within Waterford Township. As an unincorporated community, Drayton Plains has no legally defined area or population statistics of its own. It once had its own post office with the 48020 ZIP Code but now uses the 48329 Waterford ZIP Code. It is located on Dixie Highway near the west end of Loon Lake.

Oakland Lake is a 255-acre (103 ha) lake located in central Oakland County in both Waterford Township and Independence Township.There are several basins in the lake, reaching 25 feet (7.6 m), 27 feet (8.2 m), and the deepest being 64 feet (20 m), with all three basins having relatively steep side slopes. There are a number of shallow bays on the lake that are less than five-feet deep and several small islands.Originally called Pond Lake, Oakland Lake is located on the upper reaches of the Clinton River watershed. The Clinton River enters Oakland Lake on the west end through a short, wide connection to Woodhull Lake immediately upstream. The Clinton River exits on the southeast end where there are two dams that regulate water level. Both Oakland and Woodhull lakes have a legal established lake level elevation of 957.43. A short distance downstream of Oakland Lake, the Clinton River enters into Schoolhouse Lake and Loon Lake. Near the central portion of Oakland Lake and to the south, a short, shallow connection leads to Leggets Lake, which is a small (25 acres), shallow (10 feet) lake.

Sashabaw Presbyterian Church is a historic church located at 5331 Maybee Road near Clarkston, Michigan. The church is one of the oldest in the Detroit Presbytery and has served congregations for nearly 150 years. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1964 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Leggett Bay (also known as 'Leggets Lake) is located in Waterford Township, Michigan, United States. The 25-acre bay within Lake Oakland (Michigan) lies north of Walton Blvd. near Clintonville Rd. Loon Lake is a freshwater lake located in Waterford Township, Michigan. It borders Dixie Highway on the west and is south of Walton Blvd. on the north. The sand-bottom lake is 243 acres (98 ha), making it the 18th largest lake in Oakland County, Michigan and one of the largest in Waterford Township. Loon Lake is located on the upper reaches of the Clinton River watershed. The Clinton River enters Lake Loon on the north end from Lake Oakland upstream. The Clinton River exits to the southwest downstream of Loon Lake. Loon Lake also connects to Silver Lake to the east. From Loon Lake, the Clinton River heads west toward the Drayton Plains State Fish Hatchery and then winds its way southward to Cass Lake.At its deepest point, the lake is 73 feet (22 m) deep, making it the ninth deepest lake in Oakland County.
