Johnson's Creamery

The Bloomington freight station is a historic train station in downtown Bloomington, Indiana, United States. Constructed in the early twentieth century, it has endured closure and a series of modifications to survive to the present day, and it has been declared a historic site. Used only occasionally for many years, it is one of the most important buildings in a large historic district on the city's west side.

Second Baptist Church is a historic Baptist church located at Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana. It was designed by noted African-American architect Samuel Plato and built in 1913. It is a one-story, "L"-plan, Romanesque Revival style stone building on a raised basement. It features broad round arched openings, a two-story bell tower, lancet windows, and oculus tracery.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is located in the Bloomington West Side Historic District.

Hinkle–Garton Farmstead is a historic home and farm located at Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana. The farmhouse was built in 1892, and is a two-story, "T"-plan, Queen Anne style frame dwelling. It has a cross-gable roof and rests on a stone foundation. Also on the property are the contributing 1+1⁄2-story gabled ell house (c. 1910), blacksmith shop (1901), garage (c. 1920, 932), a large barn (1928), and grain crib.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Cochran–Helton–Lindley House, also known as the Helton–Lindley House and James Cochran House, is a historic home located at Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana. It was built in 1849–1850, and is a two-story, five-bay, "L"-shaped, Greek Revival style brick dwelling. It has a two-story rear ell with an enclosed two-story porch. Its main entrance is framed by a transom and sidelights and features a porch with square columns and pilasters. It was the home of Indiana Governor Paris Dunning in 1869–1870. The house was renovated in 1976.: 2–4 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It is located in the Bloomington West Side Historic District.

Bloomington West Side Historic District is a national historic district located at Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana. The district encompasses 394 contributing buildings, 2 contributing sites, and 2 contributing structures in a mixed residential, commercial, and industrial section of Bloomington. It developed between about 1850 and 1946, and includes notable examples of Queen Anne and Bungalow/American Craftsman style architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed Elias Abel House, Cantol Wax Company Building, Coca-Cola Bottling Plant, Cochran-Helton-Lindley House, Illinois Central Railroad Freight Depot, Johnson's Creamery, and Second Baptist Church. Other notable contributing resources include the Works Progress Administration constructed wading pool, White Oak Cemetery, Ninth Street Park, Bloomington Wholesale Foods Warehouse (c. 1920), Bloomington Garage, Curry Buick, Banneker School, Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, and Bloomington Frosted Foods.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The WonderLab Museum of Science, Health & Technology is a science museum located in the city of Bloomington, Indiana, United States. It was incorporated in 1995 as a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. WonderLab is a member of the Association of Science-Technology Centers.

Millen-Chase-McCalla House, also known as the Topolgus Building, is a historic home located at Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana. The original section was built in 1844, and now forms the two-story brick rear wing. The two-story, brick main section was added in 1854, to form a two-thirds I-house. The house was remodeled in 1871 in a combination of Greek Revival and Italianate style architecture. It rests on a limestone foundation and has a side-gable roof. The interior has undergone renovation for commercial uses a number of times; in 2011 it was rehabilitated for use as a restaurant.: 4–5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Courthouse Square Historic District is a national historic district located at Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana. The district encompasses 57 contributing buildings in the central business district of Bloomington. It developed between about 1847 and 1936, and includes notable examples of Classical Revival, Beaux Arts and Italianate style architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed Bloomington City Hall, Monroe County Courthouse, Princess Theatre, and Wicks Building. Other notable buildings include the Federal Building (c. 1912), Masonic Temple, former Faulkner Hotel (c. 1847), Odd Fellows Building (1892), Allen Building (1907), First National Bank Building (1907), Knights of Pythias Building (1907), and Graham Hotel Building.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Built in the early twentieth century in a distinctive style of architecture, it has remained in consistent commercial use throughout its history, and it has been named a historic site because of the importance of its architecture.

Monroe County Courthouse in Bloomington, Indiana is a Beaux Arts building built in 1908. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. It is located in the Courthouse Square Historic District and is the seat of government for Monroe County, Indiana.

Aurora Alternative High School was a high school in Bloomington, Indiana (United States). The Bloomington Graduation School replaced the Aurora Alternative School shortly after it closed. The overlap in services and population essentially amounted to the closing of Aurora and opening of the Graduation School as a rebranding of Aurora, yet with large changes and relocation to a different building. Aurora Alternative High School was for kids who were not successful in traditional schools or just wanted a fresh start in school life. It was also a school of choice, so a student did not have to go there, and students could choose to drop out of the school if it didn't suit their needs. It only accepted students at the end of every trimester (in November, February and May). On September 7, 2009, the enrollment to the start of the 2009–2010 school year was 80.

The Elias Abel House is a historic building in western Bloomington, Indiana, United States. Built in the Greek Revival style in 1845, it was once the grand home of one of Bloomington's leading citizens. After many years of use, it fell into disrepair and was endangered by the possibility of destruction, but restoration has led to its designation as a historic site due to its authentic period architecture.
