The Seputeh Komuter station is a KTM Komuter train station named after and located in Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur, along the KTM Komuter's Seremban Line. The station was formerly the only train station connected to Mid Valley Megamall and the rest of the adjoining Mid Valley City commercial area since the area begun operation from 1999. In 2004, the newer Mid Valley station was opened closer to Mid Valley City. The facilities available at Seputeh Station are ticket counter, ticket vending machine, Touch n Go Lane and toilet. The counter operating hours is from 6.30 am to 8.30 pm daily.

The Thean Hou Temple (Chinese: 乐圣岭天后宫/樂聖嶺天后宮) is a six-tiered temple of the Chinese sea goddess Mazu located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located on 1.67 acres (6,758 m2) of land atop Robson Heights on Lorong Bellamy, overlooking Jalan Syed Putra. It was completed in 1987 and officially opened in 1989. The temple was built by Hainanese living in Malaysia and the property belongs to and is run by the Selangor and Federal Territory Hainan Association (Malay: Hainan Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan; Chinese: 雪隆海南会馆/雪隆海南會館). It is one of the largest temples in Southeast Asia.

Mid Valley Megamall is a shopping mall in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It sits at the entrance of Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur. Developed by IGB Corporation, the complex was opened in 1999. It comprises a shopping mall, an office tower block, 30 offices, and three hotels. A second mall, The Gardens Mall, is adjacent to the Megamall. The mall has 4,500,000 sq ft (420,000 m2) of total floor area, out of which 1,700,000 sq ft (160,000 m2) is leasable space. This whole area is sometimes referred to Mid Valley City.The mall draws large crowds all throughout the year partly due to the amount of shops and variety available. There are many dining options available as well.It houses a 48,300 sq ft (4,490 m2) convention centre and it is adjacent to a 646-room business hotel named Cititel Midvalley. A further two hotels are in the same area: The Boulevard Hotel, The Gardens Hotel and Residences. There has been a proposal to link Mid Valley Megamall and Masjid Jamek via a 5.5 km (3.4 mi) bicycle lane.It was awarded Best Shopping Complex Award 2000 by Tourism Malaysia and Best Retail Development 2001 by FIABCI Malaysia.In recent times the mall has garnered media attention with events like the IT Fair, Home and Decoration Fair, and The MATTA Fair being held in the Exhibition Center. It was announced that a second Mid Valley Southkey Megamall had been slated for 2016 in the Iskandar region of Johor Bahru.

KL Eco City, known as KLEC for short, is a 25-acre integrated mixed-use development project in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This project is built at the site of former Haji Abdullah Hukum Village. The mixed development project is helmed by S P Setia Berhad and it is built in stages comprising 3 residential towers, one serviced apartments tower, 3 corporate office towers, 12 boutique office blocks and a retail mall known as KL Eco City Mall (KLEC Mall).

The Angkasapuri Komuter station is a KTM Komuter train station located near Angkasapuri, Kuala Lumpur. It is served by the Port Klang Line. The station primarily serves and is named after Angkasapuri, the headquarters of RTM. Located nearby are the Sri Damesh private school and the neighbourhoods of Pantai Dalam and Kampung Kerinchi. The Kerinchi and Abdullah Hukum LRT stations are also nearby, although pedestrian access is almost impossible.

Buddhist Maha Vihara (Sinhala: මහින්ද්රා බෞද්ධ පන්සල) (also called as the Brickfields Buddhist Temple) is a Sri Lankan temple situated in Brickfields of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. The temple became a focal point for the annual Wesak festival within the city suburb.

The Evangelical Lutheran Zion Church is a Protestant Lutheran church situated at Jalan Sultan Abdul Samad, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was built to serve mainly Tamil labourers from South India many of whom were Lutherans.

The 2011 Hulu Langat landslide was a landslide that occurred on the afternoon of 21 May 2011, at Kampung Gahal, in the district of Hulu Langat at Selangor, Malaysia. The landslide, attributed to heavy rains, had struck an orphanage nearby, killing 16 people, including 13 children.

The 2008 Bukit Antarabangsa landslide was a landslide that occurred on the early morning of 6 December 2008, at the town of Bukit Antarabangsa of Selangor, Malaysia. 4 people were killed while 15 others were injured from the incident. 14 houses were destroyed during the process. The landslide was colloquially referred with the Highland Towers collapse of 1993, due to its close proximity and similar circumstances.
