The Kunsthalle Zürich is a contemporary art exhibition centre in Zurich, Switzerland. It is located on Limmatstrasse, near the city centre. A number of temporary exhibitions are organized each year.In 2014 Daniel Baumann replaced Beatrix Ruf as the director.Their exhibition of Gilbert and George was closed early due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Zürich Wipkingen railway station (German: Bahnhof Zürich Wipkingen) is a railway station in the Wipkingen quarter of the Swiss city of Zürich. It is situated on the Zürich–Winterthur railway line, which was built by the Swiss Northeastern Railway (Schweizerische Nordostbahn).The route towards Zürich HB leads over the Wipkingen viaduct (Wipkinger Viadukt). Immediately at the northern end of the station, the Wipkingen Tunnel starts and connects it to Zürich Oerlikon.

The Institute for Mathematical Research (Forschungsinstitut für Mathematik, FIM) is a mathematical research institution located at ETH Zurich and founded in 1964 by Beno Eckmann. Its main goals are to promote and facilitate the exchange between ETH Zurich and international leading mathematicians.The Institute offers a platform on which contacts of lasting values between faculty members of the Department of Mathematics of ETH, graduate students, members of the Swiss mathematical community at large and international researchers can be established. A lean staff structure of a director, a coordinator and an administrative assistant, a well-equipped infrastructure of 30 working spaces, and an independent budget serve as the basis of the Institute. This structure enables the FIM to host about 200 guests per year, ranging from short term visits of one or two days to long term stays of up to one year. Furthermore, the FIM organises scientific activities like conferences, minicourses and advanced graduate courses.FIM is member of EPDI (European Post-Doctoral Institute for Mathematical Sciences) and ERCOM (European Research Centres on Mathematics) and is jointly financed by the SNF and ETH Zurich.

Escher Wyss is a quarter in the district 5 of Zürich, centered on the Escher-Wyss-Platz square. Escher Wyss was formerly a part of Aussersihl municipality, which was incorporated into Zürich in 1893. The quarter has a population of 2,727 distributed on an area of 1.27 km2 (1⁄2 sq. mile). It takes its name from the company Escher Wyss & Cie. that was formerly based in the area. The company's former Schiffbau, or shipbuilding hall, is now a theatre venue operated by the Schauspielhaus Zürich. The Technopark Zürich site was built between 1989 and 1993 as the first large single building on the industrial site of the former Escher Wyss & Cie company, and triggered the overall planning of the 17-hectare site.The quarter is served by Zürich tram routes 4, 13 and 17, all of which link Escher-Wyss-Platz to central Zürich. Zürich trolleybus routes 33 and 72 pass through the quarter on the Hardbrücke elevated roadway, serving stops above Escher-Wyss-Platz.

Wipkingen is a quarter in the district 10 in Zürich. It was formerly a municipality of its own, having been incorporated into Zürich in 1893. The quarter has a population of 15,446 distributed on an area of 2.11 km². Zentrum für Migrationskirchen (literally: Centre for migration churches) comprises eight Protestant churches from four continents, situated in the former church hall of the Evangelical Reformed Church of the Canton of Zürich in Zürich-Wipkingen, being a unique centre in Switzerland for the so-called migration churches.

Gewerbeschule is a quarter in the district 5 in Zürich. The district Gewerbeschule (upper district 5, there are located several Business schools) formed the formerly separate municipality of Aussersihl, which was incorporated into Zürich in 1893. The separation into the current districts 3, 4 and 5 dates to 1913. The quarter has a population of 9,690 distributed on an area of 0.73 km2 (0.28 sq mi).

Zürich Letten (German: Bahnhof Zürich Letten) is a former railway station in the Swiss city of Zürich. It is situated on the old route of the Lake Zürich right bank railway (Rechtsufrige Zürichseebahn) from Zürich HB to Rapperswil via Tiefenbrunnen. Radical changes to the local railway geography in conjunction with the opening of the Zürich S-Bahn system led to the closure of the station in 1989, but the station building still exists, and the trackbed and viaducts are used as a pedestrian path/cycling route. The former railway station is adjacent to the Letten Power Station on the Limmat.

Avenir Suisse is a classical liberal think tank focused on Switzerland’s future in political, economical and social areas. Its main goal is to stimulate the public debate and to provide new ideas through the publication of studies and the regular organisation of events and seminars. It encourages a liberal vision of the world and the society. Its research team comprises mostly graduates in economy, political economy and political science (with 4 women and 14 men in 2019).Avenir Suisse is a non-lucrative purpose foundation with headquarters in Zurich. The foundation has a yearly budget of 5 million Swiss Francs and its fund reaches 50 million. The foundation is completely free in its research and content. Founded in 1999 by 14 of the most important Swiss multinationals, Avenir Suisse is nowadays supported by 130 donors: Swiss companies as well as individuals.

Autonomous School Zurich (ASZ, Autonome Schule Zürich in German) is a grassroot project in Switzerland. This school is run by immigrants as well as Swiss locals. Since 2009 the association "Bildung für Alle" provides education for all under the shelter of the Autonomous School Zurich. On offer are diverse educational and cultural activities for everyone both for undocumented refugees, the socially excluded and all other interested people.
