Randaberg Church (Norwegian: Randaberg kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Randaberg Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Randaberg. It is one of the two churches for the Randaberg parish which is part of the Tungenes prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1845 using designs by the architect Hans Linstow. The church seats about 460 people.

The Byfjord Tunnel connects the islands of Stavanger Municipality to the east with the mainland of Randaberg. The Rogfast tunnel is going to be built from Randaberg, under the Boknafjorden, to the north side of the fjord as well as to the island of Kvitsøy. The 25-square-kilometre (9.7 sq mi) municipality is the 350th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Randaberg is the 99th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 11,671. The municipality's population density is 483.7 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,253/sq mi) and its population has increased by 12.3% over the previous 10-year period.

Randaberg Stadion is an association football stadium just outside the village of Randaberg in the municipality of Randaberg in Rogaland county, Norway. It is the home ground of the Randaberg IL football team. The stadium was renovated and expanded in 2005.The record attendance is about 3,500, from a 2007 cup match where Randaberg played Viking.

Svarthola or Vistehola is a cave and an archaeological site, located in Randaberg municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The 9 m (30 ft) deep cavern is located on the Viste farm, about 10 km (6.2 mi) northwest of the city of Stavanger, situated near the shore of the Visteviga bay, at the mouth of the Hafrsfjorden. The site has yielded numerous Neolithic artifacts that have been excavated and discovered in and around the cave.

Grødem is a village in Randaberg municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is a middle-class suburb of the city of Stavanger, located immediately to the south. The village is located along the Byfjorden at the northeastern tip of the Stavanger Peninsula, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) east of the village of Randaberg. The European route E39 highway runs along the west side of the village. The entrance to the Byfjord Tunnel lies at the north end of the village. Grødem Church is located in the village.

The gray concrete church was built in a semi-circular design in 2000 using designs by the architect Ove Morten Berge. The church seats about 450 people. The church was consecrated on 28 May 2000 by the Bishop Ernst Baasland.

Sunde Church (Norwegian: Sunde kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in the southern part of the large Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Sunde in the borough of Madla in the western part of the city of Stavanger. It is the church for the Sunde parish which is part of the Ytre Stavanger prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The brick and concrete church was built in a fan-shaped design in 1984 using designs by the architect Reidar Vollan. The church seats about 650 people.

It is located in the borough of Madla, located along the Hafrsfjorden, just south of Kvernevik. The neighborhood has a population of 4,104 which is distributed over an area of 5.74 square kilometres (1,420 acres). Sunde Church is located in this neighborhood.

Stavanger Prison (Norwegian: Stavanger fengsel) is a prison, located in Stavanger, Norway The prison was opened in its present form in 2001. The building was then renovated and replaced the former Stavanger Prison which was completed in 1963. Stavanger Prison a capacity of 71 in 4 compartments for all categories of prisoners. The inmates are still in police custody or serving sentences. The prison has separate departments for women and a special department to solve problems with drugs and alcohol. The prison belongs to the Southwestern Region of the Norwegian Correctional Services.

It is located in the borough of Madla, located at the mouth of the Hafrsfjorden.The 1.46-square-kilometre (360-acre) neighborhood had a population in 2005 of 4,714 people. In Kvernevik, there are four kindergartens, a sports hall, and two schools (Kvernevik School and Smiodden School). There is also the Alexander Kielland monument, commemorating the victims of the Alexander L. Kielland accident in 1980. Near this monument, there are also rock carvings.

The Byfjord Tunnel (Norwegian: Byfjordtunnelen) is a subsea road tunnel in Rogaland county, Norway. The 5,875-metre-long (19,275 ft) tunnel runs between the village of Grødem on the mainland in Randaberg municipality and the island of Sokn in Stavanger municipality, running underneath the Byfjorden. The tunnel was built as part of the Rennesøy Fixed Link project which opened in 1992 with the goal of connecting all the islands of Rennesøy to the mainland. The tunnel was a toll road from 1992 until 2006. The tunnel is part of European route E39 highway. With a maximum 8% grade, the tunnel reaches a depth of 223 metres (732 ft) below sea level at its lowest point. The tunnel was Europe's longest and the world's deepest tunnel upon its completion, it was surpassed by a deeper tunnel in 1994 and a longer tunnel in 1999. The tunnel had an average daily traffic of 9,717 vehicles in 2018.

The village is located in the city of Stavanger in the borough of Madla between the Stokkavatnet and Hålandsvatnet lakes.The 0.11-square-kilometre (27-acre) village has a population (2019) of 390 and a population density of 3,545 inhabitants per square kilometre (9,180/sq mi).
