Avenue Émile Zola (French pronunciation: ​[avny emil zɔla]) is a station on Line 10 of the Paris Métro. Located in the 15th arrondissement, it is situated at the eastern end of Avenue Émile Zola, at the intersection of the Rue du Commerce and Rue Fondary.

École Jeannine Manuel is a private highly selective and co-educational day school founded in 1954, by Jeannine Manuel. The school has over 20,000 alumni. La Motte-Picquet–Grenelle (French pronunciation: ​[la mɔt pikɛ ɡʁənɛl]) is a station of the Paris Métro, at the interconnection of Line 6, Line 8 and Line 10 in the 15th arrondissement. The station combines underground and elevated platforms. It is named after the Avenue de la Motte-Picquet and Boulevard de Grenelle, as the station is located at the intersection of these two streets. It is a major Paris Métro interconnection on the Rive Gauche, the most important west of Montparnasse.

The Direction de la Surveillance du Territoire (DST; English: Directorate of Territorial Surveillance) was a directorate of the French National Police operating as a domestic intelligence agency. It was responsible for counterespionage, counterterrorism and more generally the security of France against foreign threats and interference. It was created in 1944 with its headquarters situated at 7 rue Nélaton in Paris. On 1 July 2008, it was merged with the Direction centrale des renseignements généraux into the new Direction centrale du renseignement intérieur.The DST Economic Security and Protection of National Assets department had units in the 22 regions of France to protect French technology. It operated for 20 years, not only on behalf of defense industry leaders, but also for pharmaceuticals, telecoms, the automobile industry, and all manufacturing and service sectors.

The Hôtel Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel is skyscraper hotel located near the Eiffel Tower in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, France. It has 430 rooms. It is one of the closest hotel to the Eiffel Tower.

Commerce (French pronunciation: [kɔmɛʁs] (listen)) is a station on line 8 of the Paris Métro in the Rue du Commerce, at the intersection with the Place du Commerce in the 15th arrondissement. The station was opened on 27 July 1937 as part of the extension of line 8 from La Motte-Picquet - Grenelle to Balard. The rue du Commerce, as its name suggests, is a shopping street in the district of Grenelle. The whole span of the street, from Motte-Picquet to the Eglise Saint-Jean-Baptiste, is occupied by a mix of high-street shopping, amongst which are about 20 national and international brands, and small, typically Parisian food stores and cafés. After major real estate development in the 1990s and early 2000s, the street and surrounding neighborhood have managed to maintain much of their peripheral faubourg or small-town feel while prospering as one of the major centers for population attraction in the 15th arrondissement. The center section of the place du Commerce is occupied by a small urban park. The street is very narrow; when the station was built underneath it, the platforms had to be built offset from each other because of the limited space (as is the case for Métro station Liège). Commerce has two access points, one on each side of the Place du Commerce. Both points are entrance/exit types and lead to a central underground hall with ticket vending machines and an information booth. The southern access point is equipped with a street-bound mechanical elevator. The Eglise Saint-Jean-Baptiste, at the southern extremity of the rue du Commerce was built in 1825, and was massively renovated between 1924 and 1926. There are two Vélib' bicycle stations near Commerce station, one on rue Lakanal, opposite the station, and one on rue Violet, on the far side of Place du Commerce.

The Australian Embassy in Paris is located 400 metres southwest of the Eiffel Tower, on Rue Jean Rey in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, near the Bir-Hakeim bridge on the Seine. The embassy is situated on a triangular shaped block, and comprises a pair of nine-storey buildings. The Chancellery Building houses Australia's missions to France, to UNESCO and to the OECD, and the apartment of the ambassador to France; the other building contains 34 staff apartments, all with views of the Seine and the Eiffel Tower.The embassy, and several pieces of its original furniture, were designed in a modernist style by Australian architect Harry Seidler, with Marcel Breuer and Pier Luigi Nervi as consulting designers. Like many of Seidler's other works, the Embassy was built from precast modularised concrete, with a quartz and granite faced exterior and prestressed precast floors. Its two buildings are curved to form two quarter circles, the two arcs of an "S"-shaped complex, with the radii of the circles lined up to match the axes of the Eiffel Tower and the Champ de Mars.The land for the embassy, that was a part of the disused railway depot near the old station of the Champ de Mars, was purchased by the McMahon government of Australia in 1972. Construction started on the Embassy in 1975, and it was completed in 1977.

Bir-Hakeim (French pronunciation: ​[biʁ akɛm]) is an elevated station of the Paris Métro serving line 6 in the Boulevard de Grenelle in the 15th arrondissement. It is situated on the left bank of the Bir-Hakeim bridge over the Seine. The name of both the bridge and the station commemorates the World War II battle of Bir Hakeim. The station is above the RER C line; the station Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel is within walking distance.

The Vélodrome d'Hiver (French pronunciation: ​[velɔdʁɔm divɛʁ], Winter Velodrome), colloquially Vel' d'Hiv', was an indoor bicycle racing cycle track and stadium (velodrome) on rue Nélaton, not far from the Eiffel Tower in Paris. As well as a cycling track, it was used for ice hockey, basketball, wrestling, boxing, roller-skating, circuses, bullfighting, spectaculars, and demonstrations. It was the first permanent indoor track in France and the name persisted for other indoor tracks built subsequently. In July 1942, French police, acting under orders from the German authorities in Occupied Paris, used the velodrome to hold thousands of Jews and others who were victims in a mass arrest. The Jews were held at the velodrome before they were moved to a concentration camp in the Parisian suburbs at Drancy and then to the extermination camp at Auschwitz. The incident became known as the "Vel' d'Hiv' Roundup" (Rafle du Vel' d'Hiv').

The Grande Roue de Paris was a 96-metre (315 ft) tall Ferris wheel built in 1900 for the Exposition Universelle world exhibition at Paris. Financing the "Grande Roue de Paris" happened by the creation of the "Paris Gigantic Wheel and Varieties Company" and selling the shares of this company.It was the tallest wheel in the world at the time of its opening. Théodore Vienne, the industrialist and founder of the Paris–Roubaix cycle race, was both owner and director of the Grande Roue de Paris. It was disassembled between 1920 and 1922 and rag-and-bone merchants used the pods as huts to carry on their trade. This evolved, through second-hand shops, into the antique trade that is now to be found on the site and known as the Swiss Village. The passenger cars were removed from the wheel and used as homes for French families when the region was devastated by World War I. Almost 90 years passed between its construction and a taller wheel, the 107.5-metre (353 ft) Cosmo Clock 21, being built in Japan.

Champ de Mars–Tour Eiffel (or simply Champ de Mars) is a station on RER C in Paris. The site has accommodated a total of five stations, the last of which remains in service for the Paris RER. The station was originally built to receive goods necessary for the construction of the pavilions for the Exposition Universelle of 1867, and for subsequent World's Fairs in 1878, 1889, 1900 and 1937. The location was chosen as it was then a large piece of land devoid of buildings, facing the Trocadéro and the École Militaire. It was built on the street corner of the Avenue de Suffren and the Quai Branly.
