Ye Olde Cherry Tree

The Valentine Poole houses are a terrace of grade II listed houses on The Green, Southgate, London. The houses were built in 1780 by the Valentine Poole Trust for the poor of Barnet. The architect was Michael Searles. The buildings were saved from demolition by Southgate Civic Trust and renovated by Peake Estates Limited in 1981.

40 The Green is a grade II listed building on The Green, Southgate, London. The house dates from the early nineteenth century with later alterations. It bears a local blue plaque that reads, "In 1881 this house became the first seat of local government in Southgate", referring to the separation of Southgate from Edmonton in that year.

Minchington Hall, or Mincington Hall, or Minchenden House, was a country house and estate in Southgate, then in the county of Middlesex in England, and now in Greater London. It was on Southgate Green and the south side of Waterfall Road, and adjoined Arnolds (Arnos Grove) slightly further east, which was originally less significant than Minchington. The estate was merged into Arnos Grove in 1853 and the house demolished.

Oakbeams is a grade II listed house on The Green, Southgate, London. Built in 1929–31, it was designed by architect Paul Badcock for George Cole, a graphic designer and artist's agent. Historic England describe Oakbeams as "an unusually elaborate example of a 'Stockbroker Tudor' inter-war suburban house".The listing includes the surrounding walls and ironwork which includes the words "OAKBEAMS MCMXXIX" in the upper central panel.

Cullands Grove, also known as Cannon's, was a country house and estate in Southgate, Middlesex. It was built on an area of woodland formerly known as Gullands Grove. Cullands Grove was known for the lavish banquets held there by Sir William Curtis 1st Baronet of Cullands Grove and after his death in 1829 it took a week to auction the contents of the house and estate which included 370 dozen bottles of wine. Around 1840, the estate was merged into the Grovelands estate and the house demolished.

Minchenden Oak Garden is a public park in Southgate, London owned by the London Borough of Enfield. It was formerly part of the estate of Minchenden House, demolished in 1853, and opened as a garden of remembrance in 1934. The park is just 0.17 hectares (2,000 sq yd) in size and is accessed by a gate from Waterfall Road. A key feature of the park is the Minchenden Oak, an 800-year-old tree that is one of the oldest in London. The canopy of the tree was described as the largest in England in 1873.

Southgate House is a grade II* listed building in Southgate, London. Built in the late 18th century, it was once the home of Isaac Walker, father of the Walker brothers, and later of John Lawrence, 1st Baron Lawrence.From 1924 to 1987 it formed part of Minchenden School. It has since been part of Barnet and Southgate College.

The Walker Cricket Ground is a trust-operated multi-sport ground at Southgate, in the borough of Enfield and the historic county of Middlesex, London, England. There are three cricket fields, cricket pavilions for two clubs. There are four outdoor tennis courts, and accommodation for rugby union, lacrosse, squash, racketball, hockey, junior-level football, and scout clubs. The ground, previously Chapel Fields, is named after John Walker, the Middlesex player who founded the ground. It was first used by the Middlesex County Cricket Club 1st XI in 1859, but had to wait until 1991 for its next county match, and until 1998 to become a regular Middlesex venue. The ground is used by Southgate Cricket Club and Southgate Adelaide Cricket Club.
