St Mary's Church, Llanfair-yn-Neubwll

Llanfair-yn-Neubwll is a village and community on the Isle of Anglesey in the north west of Wales. The community includes the villages of Llanfihangel yn Nhowyn and Caergeiliog, and had a population of 1,688, increasing to 1,874 at the 2011 census. The community is heavily connected to the nearby Royal Air Force airfield, RAF Valley, established on Tywyn Trewan during the Second World War, and still in use. Due to the airfield, Llanfair-yn-Neubwll is one of the most anglicised of the communities on Anglesey.Llanfair-yn-Neubwll lies on the western coast of Anglesey, looking out towards Holy Island. Notable geographic features of the area include the offshore rocks of Ynys Feirig and the eight lakes known as Ardal y Llynnoedd ("Lake District"). Many of the lakes are included in the Valley Wetlands RSPB reserve. The community is served by the nearby railway station at Valley on the North Wales Coast Line. This provides connections to Holyhead, Wrexham, Chester, Crewe and Birmingham.

Valley railway station (Welsh: Gorsaf reilffordd y Dyffryn) is a railway station that serves the village of Valley in Anglesey, Wales. It is the last station before the western terminus of the North Wales Coast Line at Holyhead. It also serves the nearby RAF base and Anglesey Airport.

Valley Station signal box is a Grade II listed, 2-story, timber built signal box located near the railway station in Valley, Anglesey. Located directly north west of the level crossing on the B4545 road, the Signal Box is thought to have been built in the middle of the 19th century as one of 15 new huts built along the Chester and Holyhead Railway. Clad with horizontal tongue and groove panelling, with large sash windows and a slate roof. The interior of the signal box remain unchanged and still features the original lever frames.

Valley (Welsh: Y Fali) is a village, community, and former electoral ward near Holyhead on the west coast of Anglesey, North Wales. The population during the 2001 census was 2,413, decreasing to 2,361 at the 2011 census.

Llyn Cerrig Bach is a small lake located between Rhosneigr and Valley in the west of Anglesey, Wales. Whilst it is not one of the largest lakes on the island (around 1.8 acres), its claim to fame is the group of over 150 Iron Age metal objects discovered there in 1942, apparently placed in the lake as votive offerings. These finds are considered to be one of the most important collections of La Tène style metalwork, or Early Celtic art discovered in the British Isles, and the most important in Wales.

Valley was a rural district part of the administrative county of Anglesey, Wales from 1894 to 1974. The district was formed by the Local Government Act of 1894 as the successor to Holyhead Rural Sanitary District. It took its name from the village of Valley which lay at the district centre. The rural district was abolished in 1974, when the Local Government Act 1972 amalgamated all local authorities on the island into the single district of Ynys Môn – Isle of Anglesey.

Caergeiliog is a village in Anglesey, in north-west Wales. It is in the community of Llanfair-yn-Neubwll and has a population of 355. The name derives from Welsh, and is a combination of Caer, meaning 'castle' or 'fort', and ceiliog, meaning 'cockerel'. It is unclear where the second element came from.

Four Mile Bridge (Welsh: Pontrhydybont / Pont-rhydbont / Pontrhypont) is a village spanning both sides of the Cymyran Strait in Wales, connecting Holy Island with Anglesey, and is approximately three miles (5 km) southeast of Holyhead. The village is quite small and is split between two communities on the two islands. The larger portion of the village is the principal settlement in the community of Rhoscolyn which recorded a population of 542 in the 2011 census. A small part of the village is in the community of Valley, Anglesey. The village is about one mile (1.5 km) from Valley railway station, and is on the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path. The village has a hairdressers and a pub named "The Anchorage".

Anglesey Airport (Welsh: Maes Awyr Ynys Môn) (IATA: VLY, ICAO: EGOV) is an airport owned by the Isle of Anglesey County Council on land leased from the Defence Infrastructure Organisation. The airport is situated at Llanfair-yn-Neubwll in Anglesey, Wales. The leased site is part of RAF Valley.

Royal Air Force Valley or more simply RAF Valley (Welsh: Llu Awyr Brenhinol Y Fali) (IATA: VLY, ICAO: EGOV) is a Royal Air Force station on the island of Anglesey, Wales, and which is also used as Anglesey Airport. It provides both basic and advanced fast-jet training using the Texan T1 and Hawk T2 and provides mountain and maritime training for aircrew using the Jupiter T1 helicopter.

Valley Wetlands (Welsh: Gwlyptiroedd y Fali), formerly Valley Lakes, is a nature reserve in Anglesey, Wales belonging to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. It is an area of lakes and reedbeds to the south-east of Valley in Llanfair-yn-Neubwll community, adjacent to RAF Valley airfield. The western section of the reserve includes Llyn Penrhyn, Llyn Treflesg and part of Llyn Dinam. The eastern part includes Llyn Traffwll and wetlands along the Afon Crigyll. Much of the reserve is included within two Sites of Special Scientific Interest. Breeding birds include good numbers of sedge and reed warblers which have been joined in recent years by Cetti's warbler. Several species of duck breed including shoveler, gadwall and pochard. Outside the breeding season, duck numbers increase and bittern and marsh harrier are regularly seen. Several rare birds have been recorded such as whiskered tern, green-winged teal and ring-necked duck. The reserve is rich in wetland plants with large areas of reed and willow and uncommon species such as eight-stamened waterwort, flowering rush, marsh fern and hop sedge. Among the insects are hairy dragonfly, variable damselfly and various water beetles. Mammals include otter and water vole.
