Rue d'Astorg

The Rue Roquépine is a street in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was built in 1774 (1774) on land formerly owned by Louis d'Astorg d'Aubarède, Marquess of Roquépine.Since 2019, the Protestant temple at 5 Rue Roquépine houses the local group of Girl Scouts Eclaireurs Unionistes de France. The Roquépine marine unit is housed in a spacious room on the second floor of the temple.

The Théâtre de la Madeleine is a theater in Paris built in the English style in 1924 on the site of a carousel. The first major success of the theatre came with the presentation of part one of The Merchants of Glory by Marcel Pagnol. The Théâtre de la Madeleine was closely associated with the French stage actor, film actor, director, screenwriter, and prolific playwright Sacha Guitry who composed 24 of his plays here between 1932 and 1940.Simone Valere and Jean Desailly were directors of the theater from 1980 until 2002. In 2003 the director's job was taken over by Frederick Frank (until 2012) and Stéphane Lissner (until 2005). Since 2012, Jean-Claude Camus has been director.

Rue des Saussaies is a short (50m long) street in the 8th arrondissement of Paris that adjoins the Ministry of the Interior. It begins at place Beauvau and finishes at place Saussaies. At number 10, lived the comte de Ségur, Napoleon I's master of ceremonies. At number 11, was the Gestapo headquarters for occupied Paris during World War II. After the war, number 11 housed the Ministry of the Interior, including the Sûreté nationale. At number 22, French composer Francis Poulenc was born, on 7 January 1899.

Saint-Augustin (French pronunciation: ​[sɛ̃t‿oɡystɛ̃]) is a station on Line 9 of the Paris Métro. Named after Place Saint-Augustin (itself named after Saint-Augustin church, the station opened on 27 May 1923 with the line's extension from Trocadéro. It is located in the 8th arrondissement.

The cemetery was named after Mary Magdalene, known in French as Sainte-Madeleine.
