Rue Roquépine

The Rue d'Astorg is a street in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was built in 1774 on land formerly owned by Louis d'Astorg d'Aubarède, Marquess of Roquépine.

The Théâtre de la Madeleine is a theater in Paris built in the English style in 1924 on the site of a carousel. Saint-Augustin (French pronunciation: ​[sɛ̃t‿oɡystɛ̃]) is a station on Line 9 of the Paris Métro. Named after Place Saint-Augustin (itself named after Saint-Augustin church, the station opened on 27 May 1923 with the line's extension from Trocadéro. It is located in the 8th arrondissement.

Cimetière de la Madeleine is also the name of a cemetery in AmiensMadeleine Cemetery (in French known as Cimetière de la Madeleine) is a former cemetery in the 8th arrondissement of Paris and was one of the four cemeteries (the others being Errancis Cemetery, Picpus Cemetery and the Cemetery of Saint Margaret) used to dispose of the corpses of guillotine victims during the French Revolution. The cemetery was named after Mary Magdalene, known in French as Sainte-Madeleine.

Rue des Saussaies is a short (50m long) street in the 8th arrondissement of Paris that adjoins the Ministry of the Interior. It begins at place Beauvau and finishes at place Saussaies. At number 10, lived the comte de Ségur, Napoleon I's master of ceremonies. At number 11, was the Gestapo headquarters for occupied Paris during World War II. After the war, number 11 housed the Ministry of the Interior, including the Sûreté nationale. At number 22, French composer Francis Poulenc was born, on 7 January 1899.

The Chapelle expiatoire ("Expiatory Chapel") is a chapel located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France. The chapel was constructed on the grounds where King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette had been buried after they had been guillotined, and it is therefore dedicated to them. The closest métro station is Saint-Augustin .
