Christnach

Waldbillig (Luxembourgish: Waldbëlleg or (locally) Bëlleg [ˈbələɕ]) is a commune and small town in the canton of Echternach, Luxembourg. As of 2020, the town of Waldbillig, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 566. Other towns within the commune include Christnach with a population of 793 and Haller with a population of 413. Other localities include Mullerthal with 55 inhabitants and Freckeisen with a population of 50.

The Loschbour man (also Loschbur man) is a specimen of Homo sapiens from the European Mesolithic discovered in 1935 in Mullerthal, in the commune of Waldbillig, Luxembourg.

Reuland (Luxembourgish: Reiland) is a village in the commune of Heffingen, in central Luxembourg. As of 2005, the village has a population of 188.

Haller (Luxembourgish: Haler) is a village in the commune of Waldbillig, in eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the village has a population of 216.

Heffingen (Luxembourgish: Hiefenech) is a commune and small town in central Luxembourg, in the canton of Mersch. As of 2005, the town of Heffingen, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 598. Another town within the commune is Reuland. Heffingen is where Loschbour man, a homo sapiens of over 8000 years old, was found.

Larochette (French pronunciation: [laʁɔʃɛt]; Luxembourgish: Fiels, German: Fels) is a commune and town in central Luxembourg, in the canton of Mersch. It is situated on the White Ernz river. The town is dominated by the partly ruined Larochette Castle. The town of Larochette lies in the north-east of the commune. Other towns within the commune include Ernzen. Meysembourg Castle, located some 2 kilometres (1+1⁄4 mi) south-west of Larochette, has a history dating back to the 12th century. Today's castle was built in 1880 in Neo-Renaissance style and is privately owned.

Larochette Castle (Luxembourgish: Buerg Fiels, German: Burg Fels, French: Château de Larochette) stands high above the town of Larochette in central Luxembourg. Dating from the 11th century, the castle was destroyed by fire at the end of the 16th century. Since its acquisition by the State of Luxembourg in 1979, some restoration work has been undertaken.

Mullerthal (Luxembourgish: Mëllerdall, German: Müllertal) is a village in the commune of Waldbillig, in eastern Luxembourg. As of 2016, the village had a population of 62. It lends its name to the alternative name of a region of eastern Luxembourg, otherwise known as Little Switzerland.

Beaufort (Luxembourgish: Beefort, German: Befort) is a commune and town in eastern Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Echternach, which is part of the district of Grevenmacher.

Ernzen (Luxembourgish: Ierenz) is a small village in the commune of Larochette, in central Luxembourg. As of 2023, the town has a population of 536.

Vallée de l'Ernz (Luxembourgish: Ärenzdall) is a commune in northern Luxembourg, in the canton of Diekirch. The commune of Vallée de l'Ernz was formed on 1 January 2012 from the former communes of Ermsdorf and Medernach. The law creating the Vallée de l'Ernz was passed on 24 May 2011. It has an area of 39.73 km2.

Godbrange (Luxembourgish: Guedber, German: Godbringen) is a village in the commune of Junglinster, in central Luxembourg. As of 2018, the village has a population of 574 inhabitants.
