Schoolhouse Lake is an all-sports 37-acre (15 ha) lake located in central Oakland County, on the east side of Waterford in Waterford Township.The lake is part of the Clinton River watershed. The Clinton River enters Schoolhouse Lake on the north end and exits on the west end. Upstream is Lake Oakland and Wormer Lake (27.5 acres). Downstream from Schoolhouse Lake is Loon Lake.

Leggett Bay (also known as 'Leggets Lake) is located in Waterford Township, Michigan, United States. The 25-acre bay within Lake Oakland (Michigan) lies north of Walton Blvd. near Clintonville Rd. Morgan Lake is a lake located in Waterford Township, Michigan. It borders Lake Angelus Rd. and is just east of Clintonville Rd. The 28-acre (11 ha) lake is a private lake with two beaches for its residents. At its deepest point, the lake is 25 feet (7.6 m) deep.

Loon Lake is a freshwater lake located in Waterford Township, Michigan. It borders Dixie Highway on the west and is south of Walton Blvd. on the north. The sand-bottom lake is 243 acres (98 ha), making it the 18th largest lake in Oakland County, Michigan and one of the largest in Waterford Township. Loon Lake is located on the upper reaches of the Clinton River watershed. The Clinton River enters Lake Loon on the north end from Lake Oakland upstream. The Clinton River exits to the southwest downstream of Loon Lake. Loon Lake also connects to Silver Lake to the east. From Loon Lake, the Clinton River heads west toward the Drayton Plains State Fish Hatchery and then winds its way southward to Cass Lake.At its deepest point, the lake is 73 feet (22 m) deep, making it the ninth deepest lake in Oakland County. Oakland Lake is a 255-acre (103 ha) lake located in central Oakland County in both Waterford Township and Independence Township.There are several basins in the lake, reaching 25 feet (7.6 m), 27 feet (8.2 m), and the deepest being 64 feet (20 m), with all three basins having relatively steep side slopes. There are a number of shallow bays on the lake that are less than five-feet deep and several small islands.Originally called Pond Lake, Oakland Lake is located on the upper reaches of the Clinton River watershed. The Clinton River enters Oakland Lake on the west end through a short, wide connection to Woodhull Lake immediately upstream. The Clinton River exits on the southeast end where there are two dams that regulate water level. Both Oakland and Woodhull lakes have a legal established lake level elevation of 957.43. A short distance downstream of Oakland Lake, the Clinton River enters into Schoolhouse Lake and Loon Lake. Near the central portion of Oakland Lake and to the south, a short, shallow connection leads to Leggets Lake, which is a small (25 acres), shallow (10 feet) lake.

Scott Lake is a 77.5-acre (31.4 ha) all-sports lake in Waterford Township in Oakland County, Michigan.The private, 35-foot (11 m) deep lake, all-sports lake is spring fed and is entirely residential. It is located north of Scott Lake Rd. and west of Dixie Highway.
