Coquitlam Centre is a shopping mall in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, built in 1979 and expanded in 2001. It is located at the southern edge of the Coquitlam Town Centre area, near Coquitlam Central station and several other smaller shopping centres. Coquitlam Centre is the largest mall in the Tri-Cities area, with an area of 84,882 square metres (913,665 sq ft) and 200 stores and services.Coquitlam Centre is a super-regional sized shopping centre anchored by Walmart, Hudson's Bay, Best Buy, Dollarama, London Drugs and T & T Supermarket. Coquitlam Centre's original anchor tenants included Hudson's Bay, Eaton's, and Woodward's.

Henderson Place Mall is a Chinese themed mall in the Town Centre area of Coquitlam, British Columbia. It is located on Pinetree Way across from Coquitlam Centre and Lincoln Station of the Millennium Line. Opened in 1999, it has 245,000 square feet of retail space In 2019, it was offered for sale through CBRE Group.

Lincoln is an elevated station on the Millennium Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system in Coquitlam, British Columbia. It is located on Pinetree Way, situated between Lincoln and Northern Avenues. Coquitlam Centre and Henderson Place shopping centres are located within walking distance from the station.

Gleneagle Secondary School, or simply Gleneagle, is a public coeducational high school located in Coquitlam, British Columbia, established in 1997. It is run by School District 43 Coquitlam. Gleneagle serves grades 9-12 and has an enrolment of about 1500 students. In addition to academic programs, Gleneagle offers specialty programs such as ACE-IT Culinary Arts and Hairdressing, the COAST outdoor education program, the grade 9 JumpstART art program, and the school district's TALONS gifted program. As of the 2013-14 school year Gleneagle ranked 80 out of 293 by the Fraser Institute with a rating of 7.1, down from previous years. Gleneagle has one of the highest rates of student acceptance to post secondary education among BC's high schools, with more than 50% of graduates entering a Public Post-Secondary Institution in British Columbia.Gleneagle's Model United Nations team is particularly successful, with 75% of its participants winning awards at the Canadian International Model United Nations 2012. Gleneagle student Kasra Vahidi won a competition gold medal in architecture at the Skills Canada B.C. competition in April 2012. Vahidi subsequently competed in the Canadian National Competition in May 2012 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Coquitlam City Hall is the home of Coquitlam City Council in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. It is located at the intersection of Pinetree Way and Guildford Way in the Town Centre neighbourhood. City Hall is part of a two-building complex built in the campus, the other being Public Safety Building which houses the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) detachment. Both buildings were designed by Grant & Sinclair Architects Limited and completed in 2001.

Glen Park is an urban park in the Town Centre area of Coquitlam, British Columbia. It contains a picnic area, park trails, playground, ball diamond, and fenced dog park.Starting in 2012, the 16.7 acre park went through a $508,000 upgrade in part to support all the high density construction going on in the area. During the upgrade the city controversially cut down many trees in the park.

The City Centre Aquatic Complex is an indoor aquatic centre featuring an Olympic size swimming pool in the Town Centre area of Coquitlam, British Columbia. The building was designed by Vic Davies Architect Ltd., built at a cost of $8.2 million, and opened in March 1994. The interior is orange with rope railings around the wave pool. The pools use ozone for secondary water purification. The temperature in the pool area is kept at approximately 29.5 °C (85 °F), while the fitness centre is air conditioned to a cooler temperature.

Lafarge Lake–Douglas is a rapid transit station on the Millennium Line, part of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain system, which serves as the line's outbound terminus. It is located in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada and opened for service on December 2, 2016, along with the rest of the Evergreen Extension.The station features 4 bus passenger pickup/drop-off bays along Pinetree Way, a dedicated HandyDART area, night bus service, bike lockers/racks, and 150 City of Coquitlam-managed "Park and Ride" parking spaces.

The Evergreen Cultural Centre is a community gathering place for performing and visual arts activities in Coquitlam, British Columbia, opened in October 1996 by former Coquitlam Mayor Lou Sekora. The design team was headed by Thom Weeks of Architectura, and the contract was completed by Proscenium Architecture.The Centre features a 257-seat black box theatre (with configurable seating from stadium to flat floor), a fully equipped rehearsal hall, four art studios, and a 1,500-square-foot (140 m2) art gallery. The Centre is owned by the City of Coquitlam and operated by the Evergreen Cultural Centre Society, a nonprofit organization. Evergreen Cultural Centre is located in Coquitlam's Town Centre Park, overlooking Lafarge Lake.Programming at the Evergreen Cultural Centre includes live theatre, comedy, musical concerts, family programming, visual arts workshops, gallery programs, and more. The facility serves as the home theatre for the Stage 43 Theatrical Society, and is also part of the Arts Club Theatre Company circuit that brings popular plays to the venue. The Centre is the home venue for the Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the Coastal Sound Music Academy. A second 750-seat auditorium has been planned, but has yet to be funded.

Lafarge Lake is a five-hectare man-made lake, located in Town Centre Park in central Coquitlam, British Columbia. The Evergreen Cultural Centre lies on the southwest corner of the lake, and the Water's Edge Festival is held on the lake shore for 25 continuous hours in March.The area was originally a quarry, but in the 1970s the land was transferred to the city of Coquitlam, and a successful reclamation project ensued.The lake is home to many species of waterfowl, as well as beavers, common carp, brown bullhead, bluegill, and is stocked with rainbow trout in the spring and fall.
