Valley High School is a 9th-12th-grade college preparatory high school located in Sacramento, California, near the city limits of Elk Grove, California. The school was established in 1977 as part of the Elk Grove Unified School District. Valley's mascot is the Viking and their cross town rivals are Elk Grove High School and Florin High School.

The station was opened on August 24, 2015, and is operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. It serves as the southern terminus of the Blue Line. The station is located on the east side of Cosumnes River College, near the intersection of Bruceville Road and Cosumnes River Boulevard in South Sacramento. It is attached to a 2,016-stall paid parking garage and is served by several bus routes at a dedicated bus station to the west of the platforms.

Its address is 7500 Hospital Drive. The hospital has 162 acute care beds. In 2011, 9,136 patients were admitted, 53,056 emergency department visits were made, and 1,188 babies were delivered. The hospital has more than 430 physicians and approximately 1,133 employees. It is currently operated by Dignity Health, who acquired the hospital in 1992.On July 28, 2011, Becker's Hospital Review listed Methodist Hospital of Sacramento under 60 Hospitals With Great Orthopedic Programs. It has been designated as a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement by Blue Shield of California. The surgeons at the hospital focus on joint replacement, spine surgery and sports medicine. The surgeons are able to stay on the cutting edge by performing a minimally invasive partial knee replacement procedure with The Oxford Knee or the Opus Magnum minimally invasive procedure for rotator cuff tears. The department also includes hand and foot surgery specialists and outpatient rehabilitation centers designed for patients with extremities injuries and conditions.

Franklin station is a side platformed Sacramento RT light rail station in Sacramento, California, United States. The station was opened on August 24, 2015, and is operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. It is served by the Blue Line. The station is located on the north side of Cosumnes River Boulevard west of Franklin Boulevard in the South Sacramento neighborhood of Valley Hi. There is a 668-stall park and ride with a daily fee located at the station.

Laguna Creek is the only school in the Elk Grove Unified School district that offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme. Morrison Creek station is a Sacramento RT light rail in Sacramento, California. The station platform was built as part of extension of the Blue Line to Cosumnes River College that opened in August 2015, but Morrison Creek station did not open at that time. The station was planned in anticipation of the construction of transit-oriented development next to the site, and includes a 75-space park and ride lot and a bus transfer area, but currently the area is undeveloped and the station site is not connected to any nearby roads. The station remained untouched until 2021, when SacRT was faced a deadline to use federal funding allocated to the project. The agency added missing amenities to the station including shelters and benches, and made it into a "walk-on" station, meaning it is only accessible by bicycle and pedestrian paths.Because of expected low patronage, the station is a "request stop" with riders needing to press a button on the platform to signal trains to stop.

Florin is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sacramento County, California, United States. It is part of the Sacramento–Roseville–Folsom Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 52,388 at the 2020 census, up from 47,513 at the 2010 census and 27,653 at the 2000 census.

Florin Towne Centre, formerly Florin Mall and Florin Center, is an outdoor shopping center in the unincorporated area of Parkway-South Sacramento near Sacramento, California, United States. It opened in 2008 on the site of the old Florin Mall, which closed and was demolished in 2006. The 484,500 square feet (45,010 m2) center is anchored by AutoZone, PetSmart and Walmart Supercenter.

The Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (SRWTP) in Elk Grove, California, United States was built along the Interstate 5 during the 1970s and became fully operational in 1982. The plant was built to centralize wastewater treatment, instead of sending it to the 22 treatment plants that used to exist in the Sacramento Area. The SRWTP employs approximately 350 people, treats approximately 127 million gallons of effluent daily for over 1.4 million people in Elk Grove, Sacramento, Citrus Heights, Folsom, and Rancho Cordova. It was later renamed Regional Sanitation as it continues upgrades to meet new state standards.
