St. John the Baptist Church is an abandoned and ruined church presently located within the SEEPZ Industrial Area, in Andheri, Mumbai, India. It was built by the Portuguese Jesuits in 1579 and opened to public worship on the feast of John the Baptist that year. It also had an attached graveyard. The church was abandoned in 1840 after an epidemic hit the village. Fr. José Lourenço Pais, the then Vicar of Kondivita transferred the church to the nearby Marol village. The baptismal font, pillars and altars were transferred to the new church. After abandonment, the church fell into decay and vegetation started to take over the ruins. Despite being abandoned, the native Christians visit the church once every year, as is traditional worldwide. The church was handed back to Fr. Rodney Esperance of Bombay Archdiocese in 2003 by the then Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde.

Santacruz Electronics Export Processing Zone (SEEPZ) is a Special Economic Zone in Mumbai, India. Situated in the Andheri East area, it is subjected to liberal economic laws as compared to the rest of India to promote rapid economic growth using tax and business incentives and attract foreign investment and technology. Seepz was created in 1973 and was seen as export processing zone. Since then many other SEZ's have been created in rest of India. SEEPZ mainly houses electronic hardware manufacturing companies, software companies, and jewelry exporters of India. More than 40 percent of India's total jewelry exports ($2,222.31 million) out of $5,210.69 million during year 2006-2007 came from units within SEEPZ.

Andheri East constituency is one of the 26 Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in Mumbai Suburban district. It is a segment of the Mumbai North West Lok Sabha constituency along with five other Vidhan Sabha segments, namely Goregaon, Versova, Jogeshwari East, Dindoshi and Andheri West in Mumbai Suburban district.

Marol is a locality in the suburb of the Andheri (East) in Mumbai, India.

The Mahakali Caves, also Kondivite Caves, are a group of 19 rock-cut monuments built between 1st century BCE and 6th century CE.This Buddhist monastery is located in the eastern suburb of Andheri in the city of Mumbai (Bombay) in western India. The monument consists of two groups of rock-cut caves – 4 caves more to the north-west and 15 caves more to the south-east. Most caves are viharas and cells for monks, but Cave 9 of the south-eastern group is chaitya. Caves in the northwest have been created mainly in the 4th – 5th century, while the south-eastern group is older. The monument contains also rock-cut cisterns and remnants of other structures. Caves are carved out of a solid black basalt rock,(volcanic trap breccias, prone to weathering). The largest cave at Kondivite (Cave 9) has seven depictions of the Buddha and figures from Buddhist mythology but all are mutilated.It is located near the junction between the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road and SEEPZ. The road that connects these monuments to Andheri Kurla Road is named Mahakali Caves Road after it. The caves are located on a hill that overlooks the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road and the SEEPZ++ area. A Direct bus run by the BEST links the caves with Andheri station. The caves were in danger of being encroached upon, but now it is steel fenced on the roadside and walled on the hillside.

Chakala (J.B. Nagar) (Officially known as IndusInd Bank Chakala (J.B. Nagar)) is an elevated metro station on the East-West Corridor of the Blue Line 1 of Mumbai Metro, serving the JB Nagar neighbourhood of Andheri in Mumbai. It was opened to the public on 8 June 2014. Chakala station is located 1.5–2 km away from the Chakala, neighbourhood of Andheri. The station is close to the JB Nagar bus stop. Local residents opposed the current name and held protest marches demanding that the station be named JB Nagar station.

SEEPZ is an underground metro station on the North-South corridor of the Aqua Line 3 of Mumbai Metro in Mumbai, India. This metro station was inaugurated on October 05 2024 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, followed by the commencement of the metro service from October 07 2024.

Holy Spirit Hospital is a Charitable Trust Hospital located in Andheri, Mumbai, owned and managed by the Missionary Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit, which began in 1964 as an out-patient clinic.

Tolani College of Commerce is a commerce college in Andheri East, Mumbai, India.

Aditya College, was established in 2007 and is in the historic city of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The College is affiliated with Jiwaji University, Gwalior and has four academic departments: Commerce, Management, Computer Science and Tourism.

The Holy Family High School is a private Catholic primary and secondary school for boys located in the suburb of East Andheri in Mumbai, in the state of Maharashtra, India. While the school is primarily English-medium, there is also a smaller Marathi-medium section that runs in parallel from the fifth to the tenth standard. The school now also has a junior college named Holy Family Junior College for 11th and 12th grade HSC students.

Aarey JVLR is an At-Grade terminal metro station on the north–south corridor of the Aqua Line 3 of Mumbai Metro in Mumbai, India. This metro station was inaugurated on October 5, 2024, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, followed by the commencement of the metro service from October 7, 2024.
