Oakridge is a neighbourhood in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with a multicultural residential and commercial area. It had a population of 13,030 in 2016, of which approximately 50 percent have Chinese as their mother tongue.

The Peretz Centre for Secular Jewish Culture is a centre for secular Jewish culture and humanistic Judaism in Vancouver, British Columbia. The stated purpose of the Peretz Centre is to "provide a quality alternative approach to Jewish life through the appreciation of Jewish history and culture in the context of world history, and the celebration of secular (non-religious) and humanist Jewish traditions." The Peretz Centre is affiliated with the International Federation of Secular Humanistic Jews, Cultural and Secular Jewish Organizations, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver.With roots including the Jewish Bund, the Peretz remains committed to social justice and diversity. Though as a cultural organization it doesn't take a position on Israeli, Canadian or world politics, it is associated with Vancouver's Jewish left community.

Oakridge Park (and formerly known as Oakridge Centre) is a shopping centre in the Oakridge neighborhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located at the intersection of West 41st Avenue and Cambie Street. It was originally opened in 1959 by Woodward's Stores which anchored the centre until it was sold to Hudson's Bay in 1993. A Target was originally planned but however in 2015 Target Canada filed for bankruptcy protection and announced the closing of all stores cancelling 4 locations. It is one of the two largest malls located within the city of Vancouver, the other being CF Pacific Centre, and along with Pacific Centre are two of the most profitable shopping centres in Canada.

Oakridge–41st Avenue is an underground station on the Canada Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. It is located at the intersection of West 41st Avenue and Cambie Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It serves the Oakridge area—consisting of a residential neighbourhood, streetside stores along Cambie Street, and the Oakridge Centre complex—and is within walking distance of Queen Elizabeth Park. The station is located 6 metres (20 ft) underground.

Langara College (snəw̓eyəɬ leləm̓ in Halkomelem) is a public degree-granting college in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, which serves approximately 22,000 students annually through its university, career, and continuing studies programs. The college takes its name from the neighbourhood in which it is situated, which was named after Spanish Admiral Juan de Lángara.

Studio 58 is the professional theatre training school at Langara College in Vancouver, British Columbia. The school offers a three-year diploma program for acting students and a three-year diploma program for production students. It is regarded as one of the top theatre schools in Canada and the only conservatory-style theatre training program in Western Canada.The school auditions hundreds of people across Canada but only sixteen students are accepted per semester (there are intakes in both fall and spring). Studio 58 operates a small theatre and presents 4 full-length productions annually as well as a smaller presentation of a student devised show, called Risky Nights. Professional directors and designers are hired to work on each production, and occasionally guest performing artists. Studio 58 productions are open to the public and reviewed by the Vancouver media.

George Pearson Centre is a long term residential care facility located in the Marpole neighbourhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, and is currently owned and operated by Vancouver Coastal Health. George Pearson Centre was named after former BC Minister of Health, George S. Pearson. Built in 1952 to originally treat tuberculosis patients and then polio patients, in the 1960s the focus of George Pearson Centre changed to long term care for adults with disabilities. George Pearson Centre now operates as a residential care facility for people with a range of disabilities. Care services are provided by Vancouver Coastal Health, food services are contracted to Sodexo, housekeeping services to Compass Group Canada, laundry to K-Bro Linen.

King David High School (Hebrew: בֵּית סֵפֶר תִּיכוֹן הַמֶלֶךְ דָּוִד) is a pluralistic Jewish community high school in Vancouver, British Columbia. The high school offers comprehensive general and Judaic studies programs, enabling students to benefit from both the product and the process of learning.

Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School is a public secondary school located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Churchill Secondary is one of three International Baccalaureate schools (along with Britannia Secondary School and King George Secondary School) and one of three French Immersion secondary schools in Vancouver. It is named after the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Winston Churchill. Churchill has the largest student body population in district 39 with about 2000 students in the campus. Churchill is fed by the surrounding elementary schools in its catchment area. They include Sir Wilfrid Laurier Elementary School, Dr. Annie B. Jamieson Elementary School, Sir William Osler Elementary School, J.W. Sexsmith Elementary School, and David Lloyd George Elementary School. Although not within Churchill's catchment area, L'École Bilingue, Kerrisdale Elementary School, L'École Quilchena and Sir James Douglas Elementary School feed into its French Immersion Program.

Marpole, originally a Musqueam village named c̓əsnaʔəm, is a mostly residential neighbourhood of 23,832 in 2011, located on the southern edge of the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, immediately northeast of Vancouver International Airport, and is approximately bordered by Angus Drive to the west, 57th Avenue to the north, Ontario Street to the east and the Fraser River to the south. It has undergone many changes in the 20th century, with the influx of traffic and development associated with the construction of the Oak Street Bridge (which leads to Highway 99 leading to the southern suburbs) and the Arthur Laing Bridge (which leads to Vancouver International Airport).

Ideal Mini School is a public secondary mini school in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is a complete grade 8–12 high school program. It is generally accepted as the "steward school" of Sir Winston Churchill Secondary, although it is run independently under the leadership of head teacher Sandra Hatzisavva.
