King David High School (Hebrew: בֵּית סֵפֶר תִּיכוֹן הַמֶלֶךְ דָּוִד) is a pluralistic Jewish community high school in Vancouver, British Columbia. The high school offers comprehensive general and Judaic studies programs, enabling students to benefit from both the product and the process of learning.

Eric Hamber Secondary School is a public secondary school located in the South Cambie neighbourhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Eric Hamber is a comprehensive secondary school with approximately 1400 students. Each year, approximately 70% of the senior class graduate with honours standing. The school is named after Eric Hamber, former Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia. The school colours, maroon and light blue, were the colours used by Eric Hamber's race horses. The school's mascot is a Griffin.

Oakridge Park (and formerly known as Oakridge Centre) is a shopping centre in the Oakridge neighborhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located at the intersection of West 41st Avenue and Cambie Street. It was originally opened in 1959 by Woodward's Stores which anchored the centre until it was sold to Hudson's Bay in 1993. A Target was originally planned but however in 2015 Target Canada filed for bankruptcy protection and announced the closing of all stores cancelling 4 locations. It is one of the two largest malls located within the city of Vancouver, the other being CF Pacific Centre, and along with Pacific Centre are two of the most profitable shopping centres in Canada.

Oakridge–41st Avenue is an underground station on the Canada Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. It is located at the intersection of West 41st Avenue and Cambie Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It serves the Oakridge area—consisting of a residential neighbourhood, streetside stores along Cambie Street, and the Oakridge Centre complex—and is within walking distance of Queen Elizabeth Park. The station is located 6 metres (20 ft) underground.

The Pacific Torah Institute or PTI was an all-male Orthodox Jewish yeshiva high school in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The school was an affiliate of the Rabbinical Seminary of America or Chofetz Chaim yeshiva. The school was the only all-male yeshiva high school in the Pacific Northwest or Western Canada. The school was started in 2003 with 16 students in grades 8–10. PTI was headed by three deans: Rabbi Noam Abramchik, Rabbi Aaron Kamin, and Rabbi Avi Mandel. Rabbi Shalom Meltzer and Rabbi Doniel Spector assisted the deans in their teaching. Academic studies were directed by Mr Sandy Wohl (principal) and taught by a staff of four teachers. In 2010 Rabbi Zev Davidowitz joined the PTI staff, departing in 2016, and in 2014 PTI welcomed a new Rabbi, Rabbi Doniel Spector. PTI closed down in 2019, merging Bais Medrash with the Las Vegas branch, Mesivta Las Vegas.

B.C. Women's Hospital & Health Centre, an agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), is a Canadian hospital located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, specializing in women's health programs. It is the only facility in Western Canada dedicated to the health of women, newborns and families, and is the largest maternity hospital in the country. It is a teaching hospital and major provincial health care resource, and is a key component in women's health research. BC Women's employs more than 1,000 full and part-time staff. More than 450 doctors work at the hospital.

BC Children's Hospital Foundation (BCCHF) is a Canadian non-profit registered charity that raises money to support the British Columbia Children's Hospital. The Foundation works with communities to raise funds for essentials including: life-saving equipment, research into childhood diseases, a wide range of medical staff and community child health education programs. Since 1982, BC Children's Hospital Foundation has partnered with children, families, health professionals, and other British Columbia residents to raise funds to support BC Children's Hospital, Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, and the BC Children's Hospital Research Institute.

British Columbia Children's Hospital is a medical facility located in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is an agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority. It specializes in health care for patients from birth to 16 years of age (possibly longer if followed by a specialist team). It is also a teaching and research facility for children's medicine. The hospital includes the Sunny Hill Health Centre, which provides specialized services to children and youth with developmental disabilities aged birth to 18 years. The hospital employs more than 650 doctors. The hospital is adjacent to the B.C. Women's Hospital & Health Centre. Previously, the two were officially a single organization and were known as the Children's & Women's Health Centre of British Columbia.Working with the hospital and the community, the BC Children's Hospital Foundation raises funds to support and enhance the delivery of pediatric care in British Columbia. The Foundation provides funding to B.C. Children's Hospital, as well as its sister facilities, the BC Children's Hospital Research Institute, to support research into childhood diseases, the purchase of medical equipment, and a range of child health education and training programs.

Queen Elizabeth Park is a 130-acre municipal park located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located on top of Little Mountain approximately 125 metres (410 ft) above sea level and is the location of former basalt quarries dug in the beginning of the twentieth century to provide materials for roads in the city.

The Peretz Centre for Secular Jewish Culture is a centre for secular Jewish culture and humanistic Judaism in Vancouver, British Columbia. The stated purpose of the Peretz Centre is to "provide a quality alternative approach to Jewish life through the appreciation of Jewish history and culture in the context of world history, and the celebration of secular (non-religious) and humanist Jewish traditions." The Peretz Centre is affiliated with the International Federation of Secular Humanistic Jews, Cultural and Secular Jewish Organizations, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver.With roots including the Jewish Bund, the Peretz remains committed to social justice and diversity. Though as a cultural organization it doesn't take a position on Israeli, Canadian or world politics, it is associated with Vancouver's Jewish left community.

South Cambie is a neighbourhood in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, that is generally considered one of the smallest neighbourhoods in the city, both in size and in population.
