Greenville Creek is a 44.4-mile-long (71.5 km) tributary of the Stillwater River in southwestern Ohio in the United States. Via the Stillwater River, the Great Miami River, and the Ohio River, its water flows to the Mississippi River and ultimately the Gulf of Mexico. The creek starts in extreme eastern Indiana in Randolph County. It soon flows into Darke County, Ohio, and joins with a tributary that also starts in Indiana, Dismal Creek. It flows through Greenville and Gettysburg before entering Miami County. Near its confluence with the Stillwater River at Covington it drops 20 feet (6.1 m) at Greenville Falls in a glacially-cut gorge that is a state nature preserve.A USGS stream gauge on the creek near Bradford recorded a mean annual discharge of 192.8 cubic feet per second (5.46 m3/s) during water years 1931–2019. The highest daily mean discharge during that period was 7,920 cu ft/s (224 m3/s) on May 14, 1933. The lowest daily mean discharge was 5.3 cu ft/s (0.15 m3/s) on September 17, 1963.

Covington is a village in Miami County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,548 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village was incorporated as Covington in 1835 on the site of the 1793 Fort Rowdy.

Covington High School is a public high school in Covington, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Covington Exempted Village School District. Their teams are nicknamed the Buccaneers, or Buccs, while their basketball mascot is Buccy the Buccaneer.

Mount Jefferson is an unincorporated community in Loramie Township, Shelby County, Ohio, United States. It lies along State Route 66 south of Houston. At 958 feet (292 m) above sea level, it is not on a summit, but is located on the south slope of the valley formed by Ninemile Creek, a tributary of Loramie Creek.Mount Jefferson was platted on January 12, 1838, by Jonathan Counts on land owned by Samuel Farnum. Three churches—Christian, Episcopal, and Presbyterian—were organized in the community, but it never grew significantly; only one store and a few houses were ever built in the community.

Houston ( HOW-stən) is an unincorporated community in northern Loramie Township, Shelby County, Ohio, United States. It has a post office, a dollar general, and a grain elevator. The transmitter site of WHIO-FM (formerly WPTW-FM, WCLR and WDPT respectively and licensed to Piqua) is located south of the community on Aiken Road adjacent to State Route 66. The southern portion of the community was once known as Mount Jefferson, according to vintage road maps of the county before consolidation in the 1950s. The unincorporated junction of Dawson is located a mile to the east on Hardin Station-Houston Road near the Conrail tracks....Further east by two miles is Bunker Hill within rural Loramie Township, noted for the Bunker Hill Baptist Church located near a wooded area and near the intersection of Houston Road and Patterson-Halpin Road.
