The River Bourne flows for 10.9 miles (17.6 km) through North Warwickshire, England, and is a tributary of the River Tame. In the 19th century, the river with its undeveloped catchment close to Birmingham, was selected to provide a source of clean drinking water for the city.

Whitacre Junction railway station was opened in 1864 by the Midland Railway. It served the village of Whitacre Heath, Warwickshire, England.

The River Cole is a 25 miles (40 km) river in the English Midlands. It rises on the lower slopes of Forhill, one of the south-western ramparts of the Birmingham Plateau, at Red Hill and flows south before flowing largely north-east across the plateau to enter the River Blythe below Coleshill, near Ladywalk, shortly before the Blythe meets the Tame. This then joins the Trent, whose waters reach the North Sea via the Humber Estuary. Its source is very near the main watershed of Midland England : tributaries are few and very short except in the lower reaches, so the Cole is only a small stream.

Ladywalk Reserve is a nature reserve on the River Tame, at its confluence with the River Blythe, at Hams Hall in north Warwickshire, England, owned by Powergen, but leased to, and operated by, the West Midland Bird Club since 1971. The reserve is best known for its over-wintering great bitterns. Entry is by permit only.

Blythe End is a hamlet in the North Warwickshire district of Warwickshire, England. Blythe End is halfway between Coleshill (where the population details can be found) and Shustoke on the B4114 road (the former A47 Birmingham to Nuneaton road). There are a few houses, an old mill and a water works. The most famous building is Blyth Hall, built by Sir William Dugdale in the 17th century, but with 18th-century additions. It is still the family home. Sir William Dugdale was born at Shustoke. He recorded the nearby Blythe Bridge, which carries the road over the River Blythe, as dating from 1439.

Whitacre Heath is a small village in the North Warwickshire district of the county of Warwickshire in England. It is one of 'The Whitacres' - Whitacre Heath, Nether Whitacre and Over Whitacre. Whitacre Heath is actually the heath of Nether Whitacre and not a separate parish. Whitacre Heath is newer and of 19th-century origin. It stems from the early days of railways in the 1830s, and from later developments by Joseph Chamberlain and the Water Department of the City of Birmingham. The Stonebridge Railway was opened on 12 August 1839 to provide a link between the Birmingham and Derby Junction Railway (later the Midland Railway) and the London and Birmingham Railway at Hampton in Arden, via Stonebridge. The line became redundant in the 1930s and the track bed is now a footpath for walkers. There are Victorian brick buildings for the management of drinking water, at Whitacre water works, which were originally associated with public works by the City of Birmingham. The village is now largely residential and agricultural.

Blyth Hall is a privately owned mansion house on the banks of the River Blythe situated near Shustoke, Warwickshire. It is a Grade I listed building. The estate was purchased in 1625 by Sir William Dugdale, a prominent antiquarian, who shortly thereafter built himself a new house on the site. In about 1690–1700 the house was substantially enlarged and improved with a twelve-bay brick façade with two storeys and additional upper dormers. In the 18th century Jane Dugdale, sole heiress of Blyth, married Richard Geast of Handsworth. Their son, also Richard Geast, married Penelope Stratford, heiress of neighbouring Merivale Hall in 1767. He inherited Blyth from his maternal uncle John Dugdale and changed his name to Dugdale in 1799. Later Dugdales became Dugdale baronets of Blyth and Merevale. The Dugdale family is still in residence at Blyth Hall, which is not open to the public.

Maxstoke Castle is a privately owned moated castle dating from the 14th century, situated to the north of Maxstoke in Warwickshire, England.

Shustoke is a village in the North Warwickshire district of the county of Warwickshire in England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 549. It is situated 2.5 miles northeast of Coleshill (the nearest town), 7.5 miles southwest of Atherstone, 9.5 miles west of Nuneaton and 12.5 miles east-northeast of Birmingham. It includes the sub-village of Church End half-a-mile to the east, where the parish church of Saint Cuthbert's is situated.

Hams Hall Power Station refers to a series of three, now demolished coal-fired power stations, situated in Warwickshire in the West Midlands of England, 9 miles (14 km) from Birmingham.

Coleshill Parkway is a railway station at Hams Hall on the Birmingham to Peterborough railway line, serving Coleshill in Warwickshire, England. Sitting on the site of the former Coleshill station which closed in 1968, the current station was opened in 2007. Unusually it is not owned by Network Rail. It is managed by West Midlands Trains train operating company (TOC) although all rail services are operated by CrossCountry.

North Warwickshire is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2015 by Craig Tracey, a Conservative.Under the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the constituency will be unchanged, but is to be renamed North Warwickshire and Bedworth - to be first contested at the next general election.
