Cedar Hills Crossing, formerly Beaverton Mall, is a retail shopping center in the city of Beaverton, Oregon, United States. The center is notable in that it was the prior site of a historic airport, Bernard's Airport, where many of the early aircraft innovations of the 1920s and 1930s occurred. Cedar Hills Crossing has been in operation since 1969, and is located approximately between the intersection of SW Cedar Hills Boulevard and Walker Road and the intersection of SW Cedar Hills Boulevard and Hall Boulevard. The current name was adopted in September 2002 when C.E. John Company began the redevelopment of the Mall. Three extra mall entrances, new building facades and 40,000 square feet (3,700 m2) of new retail space was involved in the redevelopment, including new restaurants and interior designs.

Bernard's Airport, also known as Bernard Airport, was a non-commercial airfield in Beaverton, Oregon, United States, from 1928 to 1969. In its early years, it was one of two private airports located in Beaverton, the other being Watts Field, about one-half mile to the south of Bernard's Airport. The Bernard Airport site was redeveloped in 1969 as "Bernard's Beaverton Mall", now known as Cedar Hills Crossing.

Marlene Village is an unincorporated community in Washington County, Oregon, United States, and within the Portland metropolitan area. It is located immediately northwest of Cedar Hills and south of the Sunset Highway (U.S. 26), lying east and west of Murray Blvd. Marlene Village began as a 400-home "low-cost residential development" on which construction started in early 1949. It was named after Marlene Schnitzer, the then-infant granddaughter of the project's Portland-based developer, Harry Mittleman. The first block of 50 homes went on sale in August 1949. Fire protection and EMS services are provided through Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue.

Millikan Way is a light rail station on the MAX Blue Line in Beaverton, Oregon. It is the 8th stop westbound on the Westside MAX. The station is located in the southern central part of the Tektronix Howard Vollum Campus. Other nearby business parks offer shuttle service to this station. One bus line serves this station and provides service to Washington Square Transit Center and Sunset Transit Center.

The Nike Sport Research Lab is a research and development institute located in Beaverton in the U.S. state of Oregon. Opened in 1980, the lab is owned by American apparel and footwear maker Nike. Commercials for the facility have featured famous NBA and PGA athletes talking positively about the products and the research behind them.

(ESI) is an American high technology company headquartered in the Portland, Oregon, metropolitan area, specifically in Beaverton, Oregon, since 2021, but from 1963–2021 it was based in the unincorporated Cedar Mill area just north of Beaverton. ESI is a developer and supplier of photonic and laser systems for microelectronics manufacturers. Founded in 1944, it is the oldest high-tech company in Oregon. Along with Tektronix, and later Intel, it has spawned numerous technology-based companies in the Portland area, an area known as the Silicon Forest. From 1983 to 2019, shares in the company were publicly traded on NASDAQ, under the ticker symbol ESIO. In October 2018, it was announced that a deal had been reached to sell the company to MKS Instruments, Inc. The deal was completed on February 1, 2019, making ESI a subsidiary of MKS.

Cedar Hills is a census-designated place and neighborhood in Washington County, Oregon, United States south of U.S. Route 26 and west of Oregon Route 217 and within the Portland metropolitan area. Constructed starting in 1946, Cedar Hills was the largest single housing tract development in the western United States at the time of its completion in 1961.Cedar Hills is located almost entirely in unincorporated Washington County. In the early 2000s, a small portion of the neighborhood was annexed by the city of Beaverton, mainly comprising one school property and an adjacent community center, and in a plan agreed to by the county and Beaverton the remainder is scheduled for annexation in the future. The formal Cedar Hills neighborhood currently includes 2,114 homes, whose owners are subject to the rules and covenants enforced by the area's homeowners' association, the Homes Association of Cedar Hills.The population was 8,949 at the 2000 census.
