Hebron is a town in Washington County, New York, United States. It is part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town population was 1,773 at the 2000 census. The town is named after the ancient city of Hebron, in the present-day West Bank.

Extending along Vermont Route 153 and adjacent roads, the village preserves a 19th-century landscape and a variety of structures important in the life and economy of the period. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2022.

The Lemuel Haynes House is a historic house on County Road 27 in the village of South Granville, New York. Built in 1793, it was the home of Lemuel Haynes (1753-1833), the first African-American clergyman ordained in North America, from 1822 to 1833. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1975. The house was purchased from Charles Halderman as a private residence in 2009 by Bo Young and William J. Foote and is not normally open to the public.

South Granville Congregational Church and Parsonage is a historic church and parsonage at 7179 NY 149 in Granville, New York. It was started in 1843 and was added to the National Register in 2005.

The Braintree School, also known as the District 8 School, is a historic school building at 9 Warren Switch Road in Pawlet, Vermont, United States. It is a single-room district schoolhouse built in 1852, and used as a school until 1934. It is now a museum property owned by the Pawlet Historical Society, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Goose Island is a hamlet in Argyle, Washington County, New York, United States. It is located along County Route 47 near the Argyle - Hebron Town lines and consists of a small number of farms and homes clustered near the intersection of County Route 47 and Goose Island Road. North of the intersection on Goose Island Road is the Goose Island Potato Farm, where the McKernon families host U-Pick events on several weekends each year. The U.S. National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down near the hamlet of Goose Island on Monday, 10 August 2020. Damage to the roofs and sidings of nearby homes was minimal and no injuries were reported, although many trees were snapped or uprooted. At least five tornadoes have been confirmed in Washington County since 1950, according to TornadoHistoryProject.com, although this is the first tornado to be confirmed within the town during that time.

Pawlet Town Hall houses the municipal offices of the town of Pawlet, Vermont. Located at 122 School Street in the village center, it was built in 1881 as a combined town hall, meeting and performance venue, and retail establishment. It has served as town hall since its construction, and is a good local example of late Italianate architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Pawlet is the central village and a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Pawlet, Rutland County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 194, out of 1,424 in the entire town. The CDP is in southwestern Rutland County, at the geographic center of the town of Pawlet. It sits on the west side of the Taconic Mountains, in the valley of the Mettawee River, a northwest-flowing tributary of Lake Champlain. Vermont Route 30 passes through the village, leading north 7 miles (11 km) to Wells and southeast 8 miles (13 km) to Dorset. Vermont Route 133 has its southern terminus at Route 30 in Pawlet; it leads north 11 miles (18 km) to Middletown Springs.
