West Pawlet is an unincorporated village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Pawlet, Rutland County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 220, slightly more than the population of the village of Pawlet at the town center.

Granville Junior/Senior High School, colloquially referred to as Granville High School, is a public secondary school located in the village of Granville, New York. Situated in Washington County and to the northeast of New York State's Capital District, it is part of the Granville Central School District. The school serves the district's 7th through 12th grade student population. About 10% of the building's students are drawn from neighboring communities in the state of Vermont. The main high school building is located on Quaker Street in the Village of Granville and the school colors are blue and gold. The eastern portion of the school building houses primarily 9th through 12th grades while the west wing of the building is populated largely by 7th and 8th grade students. Additionally, district campuses include Mary J. Tanner Elementary School (K-3), and Granville Elementary School (4-6).

The U.S. Post Office in Granville, New York, United States, is located on Main Street (NY 149) in the center of the village. It is a brick building serving the ZIP Code 12832, which covers the village and surrounding areas of the Town of Granville. It was built in the mid-1930s as part of a relief effort to provide jobs during the Depression. Like many post offices in small towns from that era designed by Treasury Department Supervising Architect Louis Simon, it uses the Colonial Revival architectural style. Within that style of post office in New York, it is distinguished by the raised parapet on its roofline, found on only two other post offices in the state, and the asymmetrical arrangement of its front facade, very unusual on a post office of that size erected at that time. In 1989 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the only building in the village of Granville yet listed.

The Pember Library and Museum is a public library and natural history museum located at 33 West Main Street, Granville, New York, USA. Both library and museum were established in 1909 by Franklin Tanner Pember and his wife Ellen Wood Pember in the building designed and built for this purpose. After Pember died in 1924, the museum's funding was depleted. It closed to the public for almost 40 years, until 1973 when the Friends of the Museum revived the building and its collections.

Farmer's National Bank and W.H. Hughes Slate Company Office, also known as the Granville Town Hall, is a historic commercial building located at Granville, Washington County, New York. The original section was built in 1891, and expanded twice between about 1912 and 1943. It is a two-story, five-bay, cut limestone and brick building with a Romanesque style arched entrance. It has housed Granville town offices since about 1945. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

The Lemuel Haynes House is a historic house on County Road 27 in the village of South Granville, New York. Built in 1793, it was the home of Lemuel Haynes (1753-1833), the first African-American clergyman ordained in North America, from 1822 to 1833. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1975. The house was purchased from Charles Halderman as a private residence in 2009 by Bo Young and William J. Foote and is not normally open to the public.

South Granville Congregational Church and Parsonage is a historic church and parsonage at 7179 NY 149 in Granville, New York. It was started in 1843 and was added to the National Register in 2005.

Pawlet Town Hall houses the municipal offices of the town of Pawlet, Vermont. Located at 122 School Street in the village center, it was built in 1881 as a combined town hall, meeting and performance venue, and retail establishment. It has served as town hall since its construction, and is a good local example of late Italianate architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 194, out of 1,424 in the entire town. The CDP is in southwestern Rutland County, at the geographic center of the town of Pawlet. It sits on the west side of the Taconic Mountains, in the valley of the Mettawee River, a northwest-flowing tributary of Lake Champlain. Vermont Route 30 passes through the village, leading north 7 miles (11 km) to Wells and southeast 8 miles (13 km) to Dorset. Vermont Route 133 has its southern terminus at Route 30 in Pawlet; it leads north 11 miles (18 km) to Middletown Springs.

The Rupert Village Historic District encompasses the 19th-century village center of Rupert, Vermont. Extending along Vermont Route 153 and adjacent roads, the village preserves a 19th-century landscape and a variety of structures important in the life and economy of the period. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2022.
