La Habra Heights is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 5,325 at the 2010 census, down from 5,712 at the 2000 census. La Habra Heights is a suburban canyon community located on the border of Orange and Los Angeles counties. The zoning is 1-acre (4,000 m2) lots with a variety of home and ranch style properties. La Habra Heights features open space and there are no sidewalks in the community. La Habra Heights has no commercial activity (stores, gas stations) with the exception of a small real estate office, a plant nursery, a private golf course and numerous home-based businesses. Hacienda Park is the main park in the city and runs along Hacienda Road. A related city, La Habra, is located south of La Habra Heights and is in Orange County.

Hacienda Heights (pronunciation) is an unincorporated suburban community in Los Angeles County, California, United States. As of the 2010 census, the community had a total population of 54,038, up from 53,122 at the 2000 census. For statistical purposes, the Census Bureau has defined Hacienda Heights as a census designated place (CDP). It is the second largest CDP in Los Angeles County by area, behind Topanga, and the county's fourth largest CDP by population.

Rancho La Habra (also called "Rancho Cañada de La Habra") was a 6,698-acre (27.11 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day Los Angeles County and Orange County, California given in 1839 by Governor Juan Alvarado to Mariano Reyes Roldan. The name refers to the "Pass Through the Hills", the natural pass to the north between the Chino Hills and Puente Hills into the San Gabriel Valley, first discovered by Spanish explorers in 1769. The La Habra grant was shaped like a wedge pointed south. The rancho lands included the present day cities of La Habra and La Habra Heights.

Glen A. Wilson High School is a public high school located in Hacienda Heights, California. It is one of two high schools located in the unincorporated community, and one of four in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District. Wilson was ranked 333 out of 804 in Newsweek's 2003 web-exclusive extended list of top U.S. public high schools. It ranked 861 in the 2007 list of the top 1,000 U.S. public schools. Wilson was ranked 121 out of 500 in Newsweek's America's Best High Schools in 2011.

Los Altos High School is a comprehensive four-year public education high school located in the bedroom community of Hacienda Heights, California, United States, in eastern Los Angeles County. It should not be confused with the Los Altos High School located in the city of Los Altos, California.

La Serna High School (abbreviated LSHS) is a public high school in Whittier, California that was founded in 1961 and is part of the Whittier Union High School District. The school has been honored five times as a California Distinguished School most recently in 2021. The school's colors are crimson, gold, and white.

John A. Rowland House in the City of Industry, California was built in 1855. It was the home of pioneer John A. Rowland, of the Workman-Rowland party, co-leader of the first American band of settlers to reach Southern California in 1841. John A. Rowland built this home for his second wife, Charlotte M. Gray. The John Rowland House is noteworthy for being the oldest surviving brick structure in Southern California. Built in 1855, the Greek Revival architecture style was used by John Rowland. Victoria, his daughter of the second marriage, inherited the home and in 1879 married Capt. John W. Hudson. The latter's daughter inherited the property and in 1920 married William Dibble of the Oakwell Rancho in Covina. It is undergoing many improvements in preparation for future reopening (the interior is currently closed due to earthquake damage).

Whittier Christian High School is a non-profit, non-denominational, Christian high school located in La Habra, California. It was founded in 1958. The high school has a gymnasium named the Leon Davis Event Center, after the school worker Leon Davis. Whittier Christian is also nicknamed "Dub-C".

La Habra High School is a public co-educational high school located in the Orange County, California city of La Habra. Located between the Coyote Hills to the south and Puente Hills to the north, LHHS opened in 1954 and graduated its first class in 1956. It is a California Distinguished High School and has been nominated as a National Blue Ribbon School. The school is a member of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District. LHHS absorbed a majority of the students from nearby Lowell High School when it closed in June 1980.

City of Industry is a city in the San Gabriel Valley, in eastern Los Angeles County, California, United States. The city is almost entirely industrial, containing over 3,000 businesses employing 67,000 people, with only 264 residents as of the 2020 census, making it the third least populous city in the state. It was incorporated on June 18, 1957, and has become the economic hub for the San Gabriel Valley.

Whittwood Town Center is a 65-acre open-air shopping center in Whittier, Southeast Los Angeles County, California, located on the southwest corner of Whittier Boulevard and Santa Gertrudes Avenue. The shopping center has a gross leasable area of 841,936 square feet and is close to Interstate 605, Interstate 5, and the Pomona Freeway. Anchor stores include CVS Pharmacy, JC Penney, Kohl's, PetSmart, Sears, and Target.

Hillgrove is an unincorporated community located in the southern San Gabriel Valley of eastern Los Angeles County, California. The population in 1960 was 14,669.A former section was a census-designated place, that became part of neighboring Hacienda Heights after the 1970 census.
