Wharton) that was thought to be the highest elevation in the county. The Town of Summit is on the western border of the county and is northeast of Oneonta.

The main block was built about 1845, and is a two-story, five-bay, dwelling with a 1+1⁄2-story side wing built about 1810. Both sections have gable roofs rest on a stone foundation. Also on the property are the contributing family cemetery with burials dated from 1812 to 1873, garage (c. 1840s), workshop (c. 1840s), and barn (1840s).: 5–8 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Also included is a milk house (ca. 1910), auto garage (ca. 1920), fire pond (ca. 1920), and 19th-century family burial plot.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Bunn–Tillapaugh Feed Mill is a historic feed mill located at Richmondville in Schoharie County, New York. The main portion of the mill building is a 40 foot by 60 foot, rectangular, four story heavy timber-framed building sheathed in narrow clapboard siding. The mill rests on a stone basement story, built into the steep bank of Bear Gulch, a tributary of Cobleskill Creek. Located adjacent is the mill pond.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

The New York Conference Seminary in Charlotteville, Schoharie County, New York, also known as Charlotteville Seminary, was a school operated under the auspices of the New York Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. It was founded in 1850 with Alonzo Flack as the principal.One of the school buildings was destroyed by fire in 1856, but the school continued through the purchase and renovation of a hotel. It finally closed in 1875.

I-88 and State Route 7 follow the creek valley for its entire distance.
