Nelson Dock Pier is the official name of a pier on the south bank of the River Thames in Rotherhithe, London, UK. It lies to the south of Columbia Wharf.

The Canary Wharf – Rotherhithe Ferry is a passenger ferry across the River Thames in the south east of London, England. The service connects Canary Wharf Pier, serving the major Canary Wharf office development north of the river, with Nelson Dock Pier at the Doubletree Docklands Hotel in Rotherhithe. Boats operate roughly every 10 minutes at peak time, or every 20 minutes off-peak time. There are service breaks between 11:03–12:05 and 20:13–21:05. Boats can be used both by guests of the hotel as well as by passengers not staying at the hotel.The service is operated by Thames Clippers, who also operate commuter boats along the river, but uses rather smaller boats.In March 2020 the service was suspended due to the Covid-related closure of the Doubletree by Hilton hotel in Rotherhithe. The service re-opened in September 2020.

West India Pier (formerly West India Dock Pier) is a pier on the River Thames in the Isle of Dogs area of London. It can be found beside the Anchorage Point and Millennium Harbour housing developments at the end of Cuba Street.

Cascades Tower is a 20-storey residential building and a distinctive local landmark on the Isle of Dogs in East London. It was designed by Rex Wilkinson, a partner in the celebrated architectural firm CZWG, and built in 1987–88.The building has a concrete frame with details inspired by riverside industry and nautical themes. It has 168 residential units.Overlooking River Thames, Cascades Tower is on 4 Westferry Road, Canary Wharf, E14 8JL. It stands on land just south of the old western entrance to South Dock of the original West India Docks.The total height of the building structure is 194 feet (59 m). Cascade Tower was the first private high-rise housing development undertaken by The London Docklands Development Corporation (LDDC) to regenerate the depressed east London Docklands area. It was completed at a time “when high rise was still a discredited building form for residential purposes, and two or three storeys was the norm”. The building is an exemplary architecture project of British Post-Modernism style.Cascades was the Winner of Architectural Brickwork Award in 1989, and Grade II listed building in 2018.

Cuckold's Point is part of a sharp bend on the River Thames on the Rotherhithe peninsula, south-east London, opposite the West India Docks and to the north of Columbia Wharf. The name comes from a post surmounted by a pair of horns that used to stand at the location, a symbol commemorating the starting point of the riotous Horn Fair, which can also symbolise a cuckold, a man whose wife had openly cheated on him. The Horn Fair was a procession which led to Charlton. It is said that King John, or another English monarch, gave the fair as a concession, along with all the land from the point to Charlton, to a miller whose wife he had seduced after a hunting trip, though this story is disputed.Cuckold's Point was also the location of a riverside gibbet, where the bodies of executed criminals (usually river pirates) were displayed as a deterrent to others, while it also gave its name to an adjacent shipyard during the 18th century. Cuckold's Point is near to Pageant Crescent, Rotherhithe and to Nelson's Pier, from which the Docklands Hilton has a ferry connection to Canary Wharf.

Riverside South is a proposed skyscraper development in Canary Wharf, London. Some below ground-level work was completed by 2014 on behalf of investment bank J.P. Morgan & Co., which bought a 999-year lease on the site with the intention of making the building its London office, but the firm has now moved into an existing Canary Wharf building. Future plans for Riverside South have not been publicised.

Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel is a luxury 5-star hotel in London, England. It is located at 46 Westferry Circus in Canary Wharf. The hotel has 142 rooms and suites containing large bay windows overlooking the River Thames. Its Ancient Egyptian inspired design by Renton, Howard, Wood & Levin, based on earlier work by Philippe Starck, features a curved patinated copper roof. This bold architecture was seen as a departure from the previous conservatism of the Four Seasons group, who built it as Four Seasons Hotel London at Canary Wharf.It is owned by the Monaco-based billionaire property developer John Christodoulou.The mixed-use site has been the subject of much litigation and controversies between the landlord and leaseholders. In 2016, the residential leaseholders won the right to have a court appointed manager installed due to a lack of financial transparency, extortionate service charges and a failure to maintain the estate by landlord Yianis Group. Over 100 of the residents were threatened with defamation for appealing to judges for the removal of the landlord with a section 24 manager. However, Christodoulou began to "chip away at the manager’s powers, costing leaseholders £1m in legal fees in 22 proceedings", eventually forcing the first court appointee to quit on health grounds.

Columbia Wharf, on the south bank of the River Thames in London, was the first grain silo in a British port. Built in 1864, it was designed by architect and hymnwriter James Edmeston for G & I L Green's Patent Ventilating Grain Company. It is in Rotherhithe, south of Cuckold's Point and north of Nelson Dock Pier. Canada Wharf was added to the complex in 1870–1. Used for storage of foodstuffs until 1976, the complex, including a former engine house and boiler to the south, was listed as a Grade II building in 1983, and is now used for accommodation.

Westferry Circus is a road interchange and public space within the Westferry Complex and is part of the Canary Wharf commercial estate positioned between Limehouse and Millwall in London, and contains a two-level road interchange. There are two roundabouts, one above the other. It was designed by Laurie Olin. In this context, a circus, from the Latin word meaning "circle", is a round open space at a street junction.Notable buildings on the street include 11 Westferry Circus and 15 Westferry Circus. Tower Hamlets Council pays for the lighting in the lower roundabout, which is on all the time. This costs £34,800 per annum.

Nelson House, also known as Nelson Dock House, is a Grade II* listed building on Rotherhithe Street in the London Borough of Southwark. The house was built in the 1740s in the Georgian style and was historically home to shipbuilders including John Randall. The house is named after Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson.

Landmark Pinnacle is a 233-metre (764 ft) skyscraper constructed by developer Chalegrove Properties in Marsh Wall on the Isle of Dogs, London, United Kingdom. The 75-storeys Landmark Pinnacle is the tallest residential tower in the United Kingdom, the tallest residential building in western Europe and has more habitable floors than any other building in western Europe. As of 2023, Landmark Pinnacle is the fourth tallest building in the United Kingdom. The development was formerly known as City Pride, the same name as the public house it replaced, before a name change in 2016.
