The Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, the second oldest medical school in Thailand, was established in 1947 in accordance with the wishes of King Ananda Mahidol to educate a sufficient number of medical doctors to satisfy the public's demands. For more than half a century, this medical school has provided society with more than 5,000 medical doctors. The school accepts about 300 medical students and more than 100 for postgraduate residency training each year. It has been ranked as one of the best medical schools in Thailand in 2016.

Lumphini Park (Thai: สวนลุมพินี, RTGS: Suan Lumphini, pronounced [sǔan lūm.pʰī.nīː]), also Lumpini or Lumpinee, is a 360 rai (57.6-hectare (142-acre)) park in Bangkok, Thailand. The park offers rare open public space, trees, and playgrounds in the Thai capital and contains an artificial lake where visitors can rent boats. Paths around the park totalling approximately 2.5 km in length are a popular area for morning and evening joggers. Officially, cycling is only permitted during the day between the times of 10:00 to 15:00. There is a smoking ban throughout the park. Dogs are not allowed, except certified guide dogs only. Lumphini Park is regarded as the first public park in Bangkok and Thailand.

Ratchadamri station (Thai: สถานีราชดำริ, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː râːt.t͡ɕʰā.dām.rìʔ]) is a BTS skytrain station, on the Silom line in Pathum Wan District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is on Ratchadamri Road between Ratchaprasong intersection and Lumphini Park, amid condominiums, office towers, hotels, and the Royal Bangkok Sports Club racetrack. There is a skyway from the station concourse to St Regis hotel.

Ratchadamri Road (Thai: ถนนราชดำริ, RTGS: Thanon Ratchadamri, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn râːt.t͡ɕʰā.dām.rìʔ]; also spelled Rajdamri) is a road in Bangkok. It runs a distance of 2.3 kilometres (1.4 mi) in a north–south direction from Pratu Nam Intersection, where it meets Phetchaburi and Ratchaprarop Roads, to Sala Daeng Intersection, where it meets Rama IV and Si Lom Roads, forming the boundary between the Pathum Wan and Lumphini Subdistricts of Pathum Wan District. It passes through Ratchaprasong Intersection at the heart of Bangkok's main shopping district, as well as the green open spaces of the Royal Bangkok Sports Club and Lumphini Park, making its eponymous neighbourhood one of the top prime real estate locations in Bangkok. The neighbourhood known as Ratchadamri is situated south of Ratchaprasong on the road's eastern side, opposite the Royal Bangkok Sports Club. It consists mostly of land owned by Vajiravudh College, purposely set aside by King Vajiravudh as the school's endowment. The area, served by the Ratchadamri Station of the BTS's Silom Line, is home to a large concentration of luxury condominiums and hotels, and has the most expensive condominium sell prices in Bangkok.

King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital (KCMH, Thai: โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์; RTGS: Rongphayaban Chulalongkon) is a public general and tertiary referral hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. It is operated by the Thai Red Cross Society, and serves as the teaching hospital for the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University and Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing. With an in-patient capacity of 1,435 beds, it is one of the largest hospitals in Thailand, and as one of Thailand's leading medical school affiliates, is widely considered one of the best public hospitals in the country, along with Siriraj Hospital and Ramathibodi Hospital.

Witthayu Road (Thai: ถนนวิทยุ, RTGS: Thanon Witthayu, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn wít.tʰā.júʔ]), commonly known in English as Wireless Road, is a road in Bangkok, located almost entirely in Lumphini Subdistrict of Pathum Wan District. Witthayu Road originally linked Phloen Chit Road to Rama IV Road, running from what is now Phloen Chit Intersection to Witthayu Intersection, where it continues on as Sathon Road. It was extended from the Phloen Chit end to cross the Saen Saep Canal and meet Phetchaburi Road in 1972, reaching a total distance of 2.6 kilometres (1.6 mi). Tree-lined and in parts divided into three carriageways, Witthayu Road is one of the greener streets passing through the city centre, as it runs along the length of Lumphini Park, the leafy campuses of the American, Dutch and British Embassies, as well as Nai Lert Park, originally the home of the eponymous Chinese businessman who developed the area in the 1920s. Several other countries also have embassies on the road or within the office towers of All Seasons Place. The road received its name (which literally means "radio") from the fact that it passed by Saladaeng Station, one of Thailand's earliest radio transmitter stations. The area of the station, on the corner of Witthayu and Rama IV Roads, later became the site of the Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School (1961–2000), then the Suan Lum Night Bazaar (2001–2010). The area, which is served by Lumphini Station of the MRT's Blue Line, is now set to be developed as TCC Group's mixed-use megaproject One Bangkok.

The Royal Bangkok Sports Club (RBSC, Thai: ราชกรีฑาสโมสร) is an exclusive sports club in Bangkok, Thailand, best known to the public for its horse racing venue. Founded in 1901, it was the first racecourse in the country and one of the oldest golf courses. Originally serving Western expatriates and Thai aristocrats, the club was at the centre of development in the introduction of modern sport to the country during the early 20th century. The club has since maintained its exclusivity, and has a reputation as a domain of high society.

Si Lom station (Thai: สถานีสีลม, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː sǐː lōm]) is an underground station of the Bangkok MRT, on the Blue Line. The station is located beneath Rama IV Road at Sala Daeng Intersection, where Si Lom Road begins, serving one of the city's main business districts.

Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel is a hotel property located in the Ratchadamri area in the Pathum Wan District of central Bangkok. Formerly known as the Four Seasons Bangkok, it is situated opposite the Royal Bangkok Sports Club. The hotel is part of the Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas chain that is managed by the Minor International corporation.

Sala Daeng (Thai: ศาลาแดง, pronounced [sǎːlāː dɛ̄ːŋ]) is the name of the intersection and neighbourhood at the beginning of Si Lom Road in Bangkok, Thailand. It is located within Pathum Wan District, next to its border with Bang Rak, where Si Lom meets Rama IV and Ratchadamri Roads. The Thai–Japan Flyover Bridge, constructed in 1992, passes over Sala Daeng intersection, as well as the westward Henri Dunant and Sam Yan intersections, along Rama IV Road. A small street, known as Sala Daeng Road, branches off Si Lom Road (near the intersection) and connects to the parallel Sathon Road. The intersection area is served by the Sala Daeng Station of the BTS skytrain's Silom Line and the Si Lom Station of the underground MRT's Blue Line, forming one of the two systems' three interchanges and a gateway into the main business district of Si Lom Road, which begins here. On the corners of the intersection are Lumphini Park, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital and the Dusit Thani Hotel.

The Embassy of the United States in Bangkok (Thai: สถานเอกอัครราชทูตสหรัฐอเมริกาประจำประเทศไทย) is the diplomatic mission representing the United States in Thailand. At 11 acres, the embassy is the fourth largest US diplomatic mission, after Baghdad, Yerevan, and Beijing. Robert F. Godec is the current US Ambassador to Thailand.

Dusit Central Park is a mixed-use skyscraper development currently under construction in the Bang Rak district of Bangkok, Thailand. It occupies a 23-rai (3.7 ha; 9.1-acre) site on the corner of Sala Daeng Intersection at the beginning of Si Lom Road in Bangkok's financial district, replacing the old Dusit Thani Hotel which stood there from 1970 to 2019. Conceived as a joint-venture between hotel-owner Dusit International and property developer Central Pattana, its location overlooking the vast expanse of Lumphini Park makes it a prime real estate property, with a project value of 46 billion baht (US$1.5bn in 2019).The project is scheduled for completion in 2025, and comprises three skyscrapers: a new hotel, a residential tower and an office tower, connected by an eight-storey retail podium featuring a rooftop park. It is among several high-profile development projects emerging around the central green space of Lumphini Park, along with One Bangkok and Sindhorn Village.
