Delta High School, is a public high school located northeast of Muncie, Indiana. The school serves about 800 students in grades 9 to 12. The towns of Eaton, Albany, DeSoto, and Royerton are also served by Delta High School. Delta High School is a member of the IHSAA. The school's mascot is the Eagle and the school's colors are navy blue, gold, and white. Delta High School is part of the Hoosier Heritage Conference. As of 2023 the principal is Chris Conley.

Muncie Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Muncie, Indiana. Opened in 1970, it was developed by Melvin Simon & Associates, now known as Simon Property Group. The mall's original anchor stores were W. T. Grant, Britt's, Sears, and Ball Stores. In 2020 the mall had no anchor stores, although it continued to have over 30 inline tenants. Its anchor stores as they closed were JCPenney, Macy's, Carson's, and Sears. In 2021 the former Macy's building was bought by a discount store called Buyers Market. The mall is owned and managed by the Woodmont Company.

The district developed between about 1890 and 1930, and includes notable examples of Queen Anne, American Foursquare, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Notable contributing resources include the equestrian sculpture and landscape ensemble "Appeal to the Great Spirit" by Cyrus Edwin Dallin (1929), Roy Thomas House (1922-1923), Burt Whiteley House (1892), and the first Delaware County Children's Home building (c. 1890).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Muncie ( MUN-see) is an incorporated city and the seat of Delaware County, Indiana, United States. Previously known as Buckongahelas Town, named after the legendary Delaware Chief, it is located in East Central Indiana, about 50 miles (80 km) northeast of Indianapolis. At the 2020 United States Census, the city's population was 65,195, down from 70,085 in the 2010 Census. It is the principal city of the Muncie Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Delaware County. The city is also included in the Indianapolis–Carmel–Muncie, IN Combined Statistical Area.The Lenape (Delaware) people, led by Buckongahelas arrived in the area in the 1790s, founding several villages, including one known as Munsee Town, along the White River. Muncie developed as a manufacturing and industrial center, especially after the Indiana gas boom of the 1880s. It is home to Ball State University. It encompasses 25 contributing buildings in a predominantly residential section of Muncie. The district developed between about 1839 and 1930, and includes notable examples of Greek Revival and Colonial Revival style architecture. Notable buildings include the Thomas Kirby House (1839), William F. Spencer House (1909), John Fitzgibbons House (1918), Theopharia A. Hough House (1909), Pearl Hopkins House (1893), and Edward R. Templar House (1905).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The Cincinnati, Richmond & Muncie Depot (also known as the Wysor Street Depot) is a restored train station in Muncie, Indiana, United States. Built in 1901, it was acquired by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway in 1910. The station was used for passenger train service throughout the 20th century and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. It is currently used as a visitor center and office for the adjacent Cardinal Greenway.
