Zion Lutheran Church is a historic Lutheran church in Athens, Greene County, New York. It was built in 1853 and features a pair of wooden Doric order columns in antis and brick pilasters. The brick church is in the Greek Revival style and has a square, two stage tower.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Murderers Creek (or Murderer's Creek) is a creek in upstate New York, United States, that flows into the Hudson River in Greene County, New York, just north of the town of Athens. The Hudson–Athens Lighthouse, sometimes called the Hudson City light, is a lighthouse located in the Hudson River in the state of New York in the United States. The light is located between Hudson and Athens, closer to the Hudson side. Constructed in 1874, it marks a sandy ridge known as Middle Ground Flats and also acts as a general aid to navigation of the river. The station is built on a granite caisson with a unique shape designed to protect it from ice floes and river debris. The dwelling is constructed in the Second Empire architectural style, with a mansard roof. It is considered to be virtually a twin of the Stepping Stones Light in Long Island Sound, which was constructed just a few years later.

The Brick Row Historic District in the village of Athens, New York is a small row of brick row houses that were built as apartments for the workers of the booming clay mining industry in the late 19th century to early 20th century. The row houses are found on Brick Row St. off route 385 just north of the village of Athens. The rows are close to the Hudson River. It was established in 2010 out of a 19th-century factory located near the city's "South Bay" riverfront along the Hudson River. Basilica Hudson schedules its programming between spring and fall. It was built about 1836 and is a 2+1⁄2-story, L-shaped brick dwelling with a low pitched hipped roof in the Greek Revival style. The north elevation has porch with four Doric order columns and a dentilled cornice. Also on the property is a garage dated to the 1930s.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
